This trip was absolutely amazing! We flew into Arusha and were greeted immediately by Chuma, one of the personal guides, from Kilibound. He transported us to our hotel, and helped to answer any questions we had. We met our head guide, Gideon,, who we could tell immediately was a subject matter expert. We felt very welcomed, and there was no question that we were in good hands. We spent several days in Arusha adjusting to the environment along with one day at Safari at the Arusha National Park.
The day before we began our trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Gideon, performed a full gear check to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Again, the attention to detail and comfort level that we had from Kilibound was very impressive. The next morning we were gathered and transported to the entrance gate of Mount Kilimanjaro. There we first met the full Mountain staff of Kilibound. What an impressive group of people! We had 35 porters for the six of us that were undertaking this trek. These porters transported, all the extra gear that was needed to safely summit the mountain. This included the tents, the food, the extra personal gear that we had, the chow hall, the bathroom, facilities, etc. What an amazing group of people! Not only did they carry their own personal gear and the additional gear as our porters, they performed this with smiles and laughter and song.
The Tanzanian people are so inspiring, and so full of joy.
X All six of us safely summitted to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro on our seventh day. It was an amazing journey, full of adventure and personal growth for each of us. I cannot thank Gideon, and his team at Kilibound enough times for not only making sure that all of us Achieved this extremely difficult goal, but that we did it safely and knowing that we were in expert hands the entire time. What a blessing to have such a great group of people to undertake an adventure such as this.

I climbed Kilimanjaro and spent a week in the Serengeti with this company. It was an experience of a lifetime.
Aside from the experience this was planned as a personal trip. This was not a huge group with a generic itinerary. The trip was customized to include what I wanted to do. I can’t say enough about the unique experience Kilibound and their team provided.

We just returned from an amazing 13 day tour with Kilibound in Tanzania. Our adventure started with a one day safari in Arusha National Park. Our guide was amazing, always positioned us in great positions to see just every animal native to the land, and was super knowledgeable.
Then, the best adventure started as we began our 9-day hike on Kilimanjaro. Words cannot describe how awesome the Kilibound team was. EVERY aspect of their support, guidance, and care for our 6 person group was superior. From the guides who interacted directly with us, to the porters who supported us in the background, they all had great attitudes, were super friendly, and really seemed to enjoy their work. At other camps, we could here other tour company personnel fighting with each other. It was annoying at times, but not the Kilibound team. If they weren't working to support us, they were laughing, singing, dancing, or playing cards. It really set the mood for us when the hike had its difficult moments.
Gideon, our lead guide, had an amazing sense of humor. He went above and beyond what was needed or expected to ensure we all had a blast, was physically and mentally motivated and cared for, and that each of us made it to the summit.
Oh, and I have to mention the food that was prepared for us. We still don't know how they were able to pull it off, but the meals were 5-Star. Absolutely delicious, well prepared, and provided exactly what we needed for the challenges ahead. Our "Food Engineer", Emanuel and his team are AMAZING!
Of course we didn't get to see every other tour group out there enough to form an opinion, but the ones we did get to see, solidified our decision of choosing Kilibound. I'm sure there are probably some out there that are just as good as Kilibound, but my wife and I are 100% certain there are none that are better. Just can't think of any way it could have been better. When we decide to adventure again in Tanzania, it will be with Kilibound; they are like extended family.

We had an incredible month long journey with Kilibound Adventures; 2 gorilla treks, chimpanzee trek in Uganda, then to Arusha for our trek up Mt Kilimanjaro with Gideon’s team, then onto an unforgettable stay in the Serengeti and topped it off with a hot air balloon ride with a champagne toast afterwards! Smooth, perfect, professional and totally thrilled with our memories! Thank you!

Safari with Gideon was Amazing to be fair ,everything was good from our arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to ,accomodation,all attraction,services,vehicle was superb,we were able to see Leopard,Gideon has a great sense of feeling animals,we saw all big 5 animals,i loved the maasai cultural too..i recomnend everyone with a wildlife safari to travel with Kilibound Adventure for amazing experience.
