We went on a 7 day Safari with Tanzania Experts because of a recommendation from a friend. Our Safari guide Lucas truly was an Expert in his field. He had encyclopedic knowledge of the fauna & flora that we encountered. He spoke several languages and had seemingly endless patience when we bombarded him with countless questions. During our Safari we visited Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Parks - we manged to see 'the big five' and huge groups of animals in the Serengeti (part of the famous migration).

The only thing I wish we did differently is to stay longer in the Tarangire National Park. The massive, ancient Baobab Trees (Lucas said some of those trees are 1000+ years old) with so many elephants everywhere was something that we will never forget. The park is also quite big, so I think one can stay there for several days without getting bored.

Tanzania Experts also organized our domestic flight from Arusha to Zanzibar after we finished our Safari, where we finished our trip in a nice hotel (Paradise Bay) on the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean.
If you go on a Safari with them, insist on Lukas as your guide - you won't regret it!

Hello, We were very happy with the services we had through Tanzania Experts. They are very punctual and the organisation is perfect. The hotels proposed and that we choose on Zanzibar were excellent and the food is very good. We had a wonderful luxury Lodge Safari, everything was really perfect!! The staff is also very friendly and always ready to help with everything. Our Guide Lukas showed us so much animals, he found animals we would never see. Also he answered all the questions we had and was always very helpful. Thanks a lot Lukas!! We very much recommend this agency and we are sure you will not be disappointed. We were enchanted by our trip. Hope you have a nice time in that wonderful country ; we also hope we can make it back there one day and will once again book through Tanzania Experts. Asante sana!! Anna and Florian

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your help with organising our honeymoon to Tanzania. We had an absoloutly fantastic time, the trip and the service from Tanzania Experts far exceeded our expectations. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful and from the moment we landed in Kilimanjaro to the moment we left our trip felt completly effortless for us. Our guide Lukas was tremendous, and even the the fuel pump problem with our car only added to the fun. Please do pass on our thanks and appreciation to the team.

1. We were incredibly pleased with the “private tour” aspect of the safaris you offer. It was simply spectacular to be out on game drives all on our own, just us and our fantastic driver. It was one of the main reasons we chose your company, and we’re so happy we did. We were thrilled with all our outings, and it felt so much more like a true adventure, not being part of a tour group. Thank you for the amazing experience — truly the trip of a lifetime!

2. We were pleasantly surprised at how fantastic all the meals were, from our breakfasts and dinners at the lodges to our absolutely wonderful picnics out on the savannah. What an exceptional experience — stopping in the middle of a game drive, among beautiful surroundings, to enjoy a delicious meal!

Thank you again for everything! We’re deeply appreciative of your efforts to give us a wonderful trip! Feel free to pass along our recommendations to any of your potential clients, as we were delighted with our vacation!

Now that we've been home for a few weeks, are over our trip fatigue and jet lag, and made one pass through our 200+ photos, we wanted to tell you how awesome the entire experience was, due as much to your incredible staff as to the natural wonders and beauty of your country. Kilimanjaro was more then we ever expected in terms of size and the sheer pleasure of the camping experience. To be honest, I dreaded 5 nights of mountain camping, but it was "hakuna matata", thanks to the very comfortable tent and especially the excellent cooking by our chef Laurent and the attentive service of our waiter / porter. The food was great, and the dish of hot water and bar of soap before breakfast and dinner were a real treat. Of course, we owe most of our success (my wife to the summit, me to to ~4700 meters) to our fantastic guide Wilfred. What an amazing person to do what he does, and with such good spirits. He really did his best to get me to the summit, but when I woke at midnight for the summit hike and I knew it was going to be tough. I just did not have a good, whereas I had felt very strong from Barranco to Barfu. But I'm still happy to have had the experience and to have seen so much of the mountain. Anyway Wilfred was great and we especially enjoyed having him join us for the meals - an unexpected treat. His English is great, making the experience easier then we had thought it might be. Being biologist, we really appreciated Wilfred's knowledge of the flora and fauna of the mountain. Also amazing were the porters, incredible athletes!! We will never forget a point on the trail, when we were passed by Paulo and Benjameni, walking fast and singing with our duffels on their head - all smiles while were doing the Pole Pole (slow slow) tourist walk. In looking around at the other groups camping and hiking on the mountain at the same time has convinced us that we had by far the best staff, food, tent locations, and overall experience. Also exceeding all expectations was the Safari. We couldn't have a better week. Our Safari guide / driver Gerald was amazing in his skill at spotting wildlife and his knowledge of the obscure roads in the national parks. We especially appreciated his knowledge of birds, which we enjoy watching. We feel that most if the other safari vehicles, which passed by everything but the large mammals, missed much of what was to be seen. We also enjoyed having him join us for dinner at the lodges where it was permitted. We learned much from him - about Tanzania and its people as well as its incredible wildlife. Our only regret is that we didn't book an additional day at the Serengeti. So much to see! All of the lodges were great, especially the Serengeti Sopa Lodge. The staff at all the lodges were very friendly and helpful, and with surprisingly good English. Finally, thanks to your office staff for the great job you did of pulling things together for us - including last minute changes to save us money at the lodges. It really was the trip of a lifetime. We hope to return to Tanzania someday and see some of the other parks. I don't plan to try Kili again - but my wife might have set her eyes on Mount Meru. If so, please be assured that we will turn to you. We speak highly of your company whenever we get the chance. Thank you again for everything Tanzania Experts! Pleas also pass our thanks and warm feelings to Wilfred and Gerald. We'll never forget them. P.S.: Our porters were Benjameni, Lodi, Bildadi, Meshaki, Godifrei and Braison.
