I gave it a 3 stars only because I had a nice tour guide .. but the description and photos are deceiving as it makes you think you would go inside Kilminjaro National park but it actually costs an extra 85$ .. I also didn’t get to see Kilminjaro because it was cloudy .. so I think you can find other trips that combines the waterfall and cave with the coffee experience ( which wasn’t a full one) for less money ..

Thank you for the review Nidaa. We have clearly specified on the tour details about all the activities that are involved in this tour, and we didn't mention about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro but a series of activities on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. We have another daytrip tour for entering the national park to Mandara hut which includes entrance fees to the park but not this package. And with regards to seeing Mount Kilimanjaro, it has to do with the weather which is basically out of our control. Best regards!

Brian, Emmanuel, Hudson, and the team at Staajabu are head and shoulders above the rest. They are the most client centered team we have dealt with (having done 10+ trips to East Africa dealing with 20+ operators and guides). We connected with them through a rental property and Brian suggested and set up some great activities before our safari. Hudson our guide for hiking to Themi Hill waterfall, as well as a full day city tour, was incredible. He was full of knowledge and adapted to the clients needs. We were a group that ranged from a 6 & 7 year old to a pair of retirees and everything was tailored perfectly to keep everyone interested and involved. The rest of the Staajabu team went far and beyond to make sure our stay in Arusha was as easy and comfortable as possible. Reaching out with simple questions to the team led to an immediate response as well as selfless action on their part. When my parents baggage never arrived after 5 days, the Staajabu team was ready within 30 minutes to pick us up and take them shopping....literally helping to pick out clothing for a 65 year old woman. The biggest problem that we had with the Staajabu team is that I did not book every minute of our stay through them as they were by far the most professional, accommodating, caring, selfless people that we dealt with during our time in Tanzania.

Wow.. this has been one of the most remarkable trips I ever had in all of my travels. Our guide Hardson was quite knowledgeable about the Maasai culture! I learned so much from him and also the Maasai people we interacted with. I am quite pleased with this tour. I felt as though I got my money’s worth!! 10 star!!

This trip was one of a kind. The best part about this trip was the guides, Mamba who was a guide in training and Hardson who was the actual guide. They did such an incredible job making me feel at home in Tanzania. They told me, "don't feel at home, you are home" and those words stuck with me during my entire stay at Tanzania. The tour was so lovely. Unfortunately it was rainy season so I didn't see the mountain with all the fog but I was on it haha. Just knowing that you are in Kilimanjaro is so breath taking. The guides were very knowledgeable about all the questions I asked, and they helped me during our hike to the waterfall, by the way I'm a terrible hiker and they helped me the whole way through. It's a short hike, like 40-45 min to get to the waterfall, but so worth it. Bring hiking boots or sneakers with good support. In addition, the coffee tour at Babu's coffee was so much fun. Babu was hilarious and a true coffee encyclopedia. I don't even drink coffee but his coffee was delicious. You are literally making the coffee with him. From picking it from the seed, all the way to your coffee cup. It was wonderful!

Our last minute, 8 night safari at the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater area couldn’t have been better! Brian was attentive from the moment I sent my first email to Staajabu Travel. He was originally scheduled to provide a guide for our full day game drives at the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater, as well as providing transport from the Serengeti to the Gibbs Farm, near the Ngorongoro crater. But as flights canceled, Brian made recommendations, and rerouted us to make sure we were able to maximize our time in the parks. When we landed at Kilimanjaro airport we were greeted by Brian and our incredible guide, Freddy. Instead of catching our flight the next day from Arusha to the Serengeti, as it canceled at the last minute, we decided to drive. 7 hours one way, breaking it up with an overnight in Karutu. It was an excellent way to get a jump start on our trip, see the beautiful country and avoid any other potential travel disruptions. We spent six full days on safari with our guide Freddy and we learned so much! He was an absolute joy! Brian handled every curve ball that was thrown at us, and even coordinated the Covid test that was required for our return trip through Kenya. We enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons and Gibbs Farm and would highly recommend working with Staajabu travel for all of your Tanzania travel needs!
