My friend recommended us to Kibowhy for a safari trip in December 2021. We didn’t regret it, it turned out to be a holiday of a lifetime. My husband, I and our 8 year old son had an absolutely fabulous time. Virginie tailored the holiday with 1 week of safaris which included 3 parks, Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro. The accommodation was fantastic and the activities she organised, hot air ballooning and meeting the tribes were amazing experiences. Virginie was so attentive to all our needs and arranged things for us, that we will never forget doing as a family. She did such a fantastic job to ensure we had a truly rememberable time. Isaya was our guide, he was so professional and friendly, we honestly felt sad leaving him as we felt we had become friends. Virginie she texted us every day to make sure we were happy, she is so professional and a lovely person to deal with.
We cannot recommend Kibowhy highly enough, it was truly magical, the people the experiences, thank you for giving us lifelong memories that we will treasure forever, thank you, to all of you xx

My husband and I went to Tanzania some 25 years ago at our honeymoon. It was an unforgettable experience, very different from many other destinations we had been to. The wildlife is extra ordinary, rich and variated, the scenery and the locals just beautiful. We decided back then, to come back one day with our future children.
25 years later we decided that time had come. We booked 2 weeks of safari around all the national parcs: Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation area and Tarangire with Kibowhy Safaris.
Luckily the second time was as extraordinary as the first one, even though different. The first time was in late October, a lot of animals and lots of colorful birds. The second time in June we had less animals (however still a lot for 2 weeks) and we had the extraordinary experience with Kelvin and Kibowhy Safaris. Cannot say today which one was more fantastic.
I have calculated we had approximately 150 hours together in the car. 150 hours where Kelvin shared his profound knowledge about pretty much everything concerning animals and Tanzania: Our guide is a real “Wikipedia” when it gets to the knowledge about animals. But also, many things in general about Tanzania, the Masai’s and their lifestyle, the Tanzanian society. Not to forget his life and childhood, a lot of laughter (great sense of humor), singing local songs... Kelvin is punctual, takes great personal pride in always doing his 110%. An example of this, is one day the quite new car had a technical problem and couldn’t continue. We got picked up by assisting cars and driven back to our camp in the late afternoon. We didn’t hear much from Kelvin the rest of that day. He came to pick us up at 8.00 the next morning in his always shining clean shirt. Later that day we learned that he had spent his night in the parc with the mechanic, trying to get the car fixed. He got back to the camp at 5.30 in the morning, slept for 1 1½ hour before he picked us up. This is Kelvin: serious, dedicated with an urgent need to give his clients the ultimate experience with his amazing beautiful Tanzania.
Kelvin lead us around in all the parcs always ready to follow our wishes, found us the big 5 – yes all of them. We even got the bonus to the see the wildebeest crossing of the Mara river an absolutely crazy experience. Our lodging was perfect, the standing very satisfactory, the people we got around to meet always smiling and happy. When our 2 weeks were over, we wanted to stay, not to leave Kelvin and the amazing nature he introduced to us. We could not have had a better guide, a better trip – and for sure we will be back, using Kibowhy Safaris.

Superb Family photo safari, very well organized by Virginie, accompanied de by Isaiah, a fantastic guide who helped us discover and appreciate this beautiful country and its wild animals in magnificient conditions

The Safari dream has become a reality.
Thanks to Kibowhy Safaris, Virginie and all the team, we had an Extraordinary stay.
I'm a Globe-trotter and i love to plan my trips abroad myself.
For the first time, I let myself be guided by the flawless organization of Kibowhy Safaris.
We were 4 friends looking for the adventure of a lifetime and that is exactly what we have found.

Our friends recommended to us Kibowhy for our safaris trip in February 2019 and we don't regret it at all!
Virginie is passionate by Tanzania! She is a good listener, and she created a great bespoke program based on our brief and our budget ( safari location, accommodation, activities)
Kelvin our guide shared a lot his valuable knowledge about his country and the animals. He was not in a rush and we had a lot of time to discover the animals, take pictures of them.
Our full safari experience was great really authentic and never too touristy!
