We just returned from a trip organized by Above & beyond photographic tours and Safaris - 7 Day Kilimanjaro Machame Route and 8 Days long and Sweet Safari. We had the most amazing time me and my family we highly recommend this company. From the moment I contacted them back in 2020 with initial inquiries, Filbert was more helpful in making our ideal itinerary. He was so responsive to questions and I’m very grateful for his patience while we tailored our itinerary to suit our needs. On Kilimanjaro, Mollel and Frank were our guides and they were great - they were both incredibly knowledgeable about the mountain/history/health/safety and I have no doubt that their expertise hugely helped with us reaching the summit; they really made our trip. Our entire safari team was wonderful and really created a positive atmosphere at all camps. All the equipment provided by the company like (tents, sleeping bags etc) was of an excellent standard. The food was good and very plentiful.
Joely was our safari driver and we spent the most enjoyable days with him. He was very experienced with a great personality and we saw so much wildlife so really felt the four days was more than enough! The vehicle was in perfect condition and we felt very safe. We were thrilled with all of the lodges the company had booked for us.

"One of the best safaris ever travelled! Francisco and his team were absolutely amazing. The entire booking experience was seamless and I was kept well informed throughout all process from initial booking till the camps and lodges booking.
The pick up was ahead of time and our tour guide was well informed and eager to make sure we get maximum value. He was patient and very engaging. We saw amazing animals on this trip including lions, leopards, giraffes and many other animals in both Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro national parks in Tanzania!"

My brother and I did the 6 days Kilimanjaro Machame route with Above & Beyond Photographic Tours and Safaris. The successful trek to the summit was most rewarding and enjoyable experience with beautiful scenery and the exhilarating rush of joy for the great accomplishment. Our crew of guides Patrick and Christopher, porters and chef did an amazing job of leading the climb, ensuring our safety and knowing that they were there in case of an emergency. I came down with mild AWS but still pushed for the summit with the support of Chris. I owe my summit to him!
I totally recommend A&BPTS for professionalism, quality equipment, great food and experienced climbing crew. I love you guys!

Nestroy of Above & Beyond Photographic Safaris & Tours was the best safari guide ever during our recent 6 days safari in Tanzania to Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. His sense of humor and keen attention to detail made our trip interesting. The game drives in Lake Manyara and Serengeti were amazing and so was the guided safari walk on the rim of Ngorongoro crater. The encounters with wild animals included all the big 5, big cats (2 leopards and more than 10 cheetahs), baboons,zebras, different types of antelopes, numerous hippos at Serengeti hippo pool…… His vast knowledge about the animals and parks made him the perfect guide. I am also very happy with the lodgings arrangements on tour, they were selected thoughtfully along our circuit, all quite luxurious and nice amenities for tired safari goers. Food at all the places was excellent. Everything about our safari went smoothly if not better than we expected. I have no reservations recommending this company.

For a very long time we had our sights on Tanznia and we finally visited in November last year. This trip was based on the itinerary created by Above and Beyond and we witnessed all the promised happenings and much more. Our guide took us to Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks.
It was nice that during the trip our guide made us comfortable, drove responsibly while teaching us so much about the people and wildlife of Tanzania.
I was pleasantly surprised by the elegance of the lodges booked for us. They were all luxurious with fine food and comfortable tent rooms.

I highly recommend Above and Beyond for hosting my family including our teenage boys perfectly that we really enjoyed visiting famous parks richly endowed in flora and fauna. We had a highly knowledgeable driver who guided us round the parks, we saw a huge number of wildlife ranging from the giant elephants to small birds. His expertise and knowledge about the animals made my boys very happy from his many explanations and insights about the animals. It was like they part of the cast in movie with front seats at the premier. We stayed in charming properties with excellent service and great food.

Above & Beyond Photographic Tours and Safaris was such an amazing operator to book our 6 days photo safari to Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara national Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area with. Our guide Nestroy guided us to countless wildlife views. He knew where to stop , how to position the jeep perfectly for best shots and how long to linger without being prompted. He is well informed about the wildlife and taught us different fascinating things about them, conservation and Tanzania culture. The most remarkable experience of the safari was descending down to Ngorongoro crater where we had the rare opportunity to photograph elephants mating and a black rhinocerous with a young calf close up.
We must have taken more than 5000 photos of wildlife, tribesmen and scenery between the five of us and I will definitely post the best on my blog.

We are now back home from our Kilimanjaro adventure. We booked the 7 days Rongai route with the great help from the reservations team. The actual trek was a life changing adventure and a great life achievement standing on Uhuru Peak at the crack of dawn on January 28. We were supported by 3 amazing guides, 15 porters and cook. The climb is tough but doable with experienced guides and the right equipment. I really appreciate the dedication and support who spared nothing to ensure that we were safe, comfortable, nourished and physically fit at all times.

I and my friends planned to visit this incredible country and we reserved with this operator . The experience was unique and very interesting. Our guide was professional, friendly and very good .We had an amazing day trip around this wild land. The bed safari ever. After spending weeks and days looking for honeymoon ideas in Africa, we came across above & beyond photographic tours and safaris on the internet and had a nice 30 minutes whatsapp call with them discussing what we liked and didn't like in trips. Above and beyond emailed us the next day with 3 very detailed vacation plans with brochures, pricing and other possibilities. We agreed on almost all inclusive adventures in the email. Above and beyond booked us first class service and it made all the difference. When we met to get the trip documents, they gave us a lot of good insight and tips as they had been doing this for a while. No surprises and the whole trip went very smooth. The week at national parks was the best vacation we had ever had. They promised us the adventures of our lifetime with the team of guides and porters we will acknowledge and they delivered what they promised. Camps were awesome. We would recommend using Above and beyond 100% they guarantee you updated and professional guides. We have recommended above and beyond tours to our friends here in Norway and they are already planning to visit Arusha in the near future.
