We are a local tour operator with a Tanzanian and a European soul: one of the two partners is Tanzanian, the other Italian and has lived for a long time in East Africa.

I did not expect Safari Crew to be so well prepared and attentive to every single detail of our trip. We had the amazing opportunity to visit Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Eyasi in 5 days.
We combined the safari with the exploration of different local tribes getting the opportunity to taste a bit of history of this amazing country.
Rocco, the owner of the company, is simple the best; he was always there whatever we needed, ready to last minute changing programs, trying make our trip unforgettable. Our guide, Naftal, was extremely friendly and his spotting animals skills were simple amazing. We wouldn't have seen a cat without him.
Safari Crew is a locally based company and they really know how to make things working. We couldn't ask for a better solution!

We recently returned from a safari in Tanzania booked with Safari Crew. A customized 7-day itinerary (29/7 - 4/8/2023) for our group of 6, with exclusive jeep and guide and accommodations in lodges and tented camps.
From the very first contacts, Rocco, the owner of Safari Crew, proved to be very efficient in the organization and attentive to our preferences; prompt and precise in answering our questions, he was our point of reference from the beginning to the end of the trip, which went on in the best possible way, with no unforeseen events, everything as agreed, allowing us to fully enjoy this adventure!
A special mention also goes to our guide Emmanuel, professional and friendly, who accompanied us throughout the safari, making every effort to let us see as many animals and species as possible.

The last day of our Safari has come to an end. We have to say a giant THANK YOU to our wonderful guide Naftali to make this amazing adventure something we will remember forever. Everything has been perfect: he tought us many beautiful things about Tanzania and its animals and brought us through the best Tanzania park: Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. He is kind, sweet and really funny and we enjoyed every minute togheter with him. Thank you Naftali, thank you Safari Crew!

It’s so difficult to write the feeling we had with Tanzania! The Ngorongoro and Serengeti impossible to describe!!! We enjoyed the wonderful experience with Safari Crew that I absolutely recommend!! All was perfectly managed by Rocco and our guide Michael was number One!!! They was part of our wonderful experience! Really thank so much!!! We loved Tanzania deeply in our heart!!

At the beginning of July 2019, I wrote to Safari Crew Tanzania and a number of other T.O. members of ATTA for a two-person, 15-day safari beginning in August 2019, with already fixed flights from and to Europe. As I had already been in Tanzania, I asked for a tailored private safari including both northern and southern circuits to see some places I already saw and adding new ones.
After a few e-mails exchange, the Safari Crew competitors proposed us patched itineraries directly taken from their standard safaris, resulting in useless intermediate stops and in a not well structured trip. On the contrary, the Safari Crew Director first proposed a phone call in order to deepen our requests and analyse the possible alternatives and difficulties; after a number of phone talks, he sent us an itinerary. Though a bit more expensive, the Safari Crew proposal (1 day Lake Maniara and Ngorongoro crater, 2 days in central Serengeti and 3 days in northern Serengeti, 1 day in Lake Natron, 3 days in Selous G.R. and 3 days in Ruaha N.P., including internal flights and only one intermediate night in Arusha) was well balanced and tailored on our needs.
Malaki, the guide we had in the northern circuit, was always attentive to all of our practical needs and also very smart during the safaris: he has a very good knowledge of the animal behaviour and could spot them at incredible distances. He knew exactly where stopping the car to wait for the animals to approach us. Kahimba, the guide from Mdonya old river camp whom we had in the Ruaha N.P., also had an incredible sight and was always attentive; he has a deep knowledge of the whole park ecosystem and is particularly fond of elephants: he let us see and understand many details of their behaviour that we did not imagine although we already had many safaris. None of them tried to save his time cutting the drives in the afternoon and they both did their best to satisfy our expectations. This should be the standard, but does not always happen.
We are satisfied about the safaris and all the operator services although the whole price is definitely too high. However, this can hardly be ascribed to Safari Crew. Rather, it is a consequence of the high, disproportionate costs of all safari-related services in Tanzania: entrance fees due to the State, accommodations, excursions, and so on.

It’s our last day on safari, heading to Jro airport and just don’t want to leave! We fell in love with this Country, its amazing parks, its people.
We had the experience of a lifetime, thanks to the impeccable organization of Safari Crew.
5 days of full immersion in the African bush with an amazing and knowledgeable guide, the itinerary was just perfect, all the lodges and camps were beyond our expectations.
The whole trip has been spotless, Rocco and his staff are great professionals. We would do it again even tomorrow, always with Safari Crew Tanzania.
We had the experience of a lifetime, thanks to the impeccable organization of Safari Crew.

It was nice to be lucky enough to be there, especially during this time and peacefully enjoying all these sightings.
I started with the Ngorongoro Crater, I had the pleasure to enjoy all the animals without the noise of cars, after I spent a great time following the migration in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Safari Crew is the best organization, best guides; not only for Tanzania but also for amazing trips I have done with them earlier in Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda and Uganda.

Very good service with a full understanding of our needs. We spent 5 days in the Safari (Tarengire -> Ngorongoro -> Ndutu -> Serengeti) with very good guides speaking several languages (including French).
Our contact at the agency enquired many time if everything was alright and we were able to ask for any request.

A truly memorable experience, meticulously planned by Safari Crew Tanzania. The experience went far above our expectations.
We have been to Kenya before and we enjoyed every bit of it, but the trip to Tanzania has been the experience of a lifetime.
When booking the trip, our contact was Mr Rocco, the director of Safari Crew, we had the pleasure to meet him before and after our safari. He’s a real expert, passionate about his job and runs his company in such a way that all the staff have a sense of belonging and commitment in their profession.. We also visited his office on our last day, on the way to the airport. He has always been quick in responding the dozens of mails, ready to amend the itinerary to adjust it according to our requests.
The rsult was a perfectly designed 9 day/8 night private safari just for the two of us through Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti (including the extreme north, an area interested by the great migration between July and September) and Tarangire.
Once we arrived the service was amazing from start to finish everything was carefully planned. Our Guide, Saidi, has been more than a guide, a baby sitter, a professor, a great driver, attentive to our needs (the car was perfectly clean every morning, after hours on dusty roads, even when we stayed in tented camps). He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals and their behaviour. He could spot game at incredible distance. He was extremely friendly, discrete and knew the routes just like we know the roads of the city we live in.
All the lodges and camps where exceptional, perfectly located, comfortable and cozy. We loved the luxury tented camp experience. All the camp staff made an amazing job providing excellent service in extreme locations.
We saw everything and more, uncontable species of animals, we had the chance to see two river crossings on the Mara River: breath-taking.
This is simply the best safari tour company. They just get everything right. We couldn’t hope to get anything better.

Il Serengeti è il "principe dei parchi", tuttavia, se per motivi di tempo o di budget è impossibile raggiungerlo, il Tarangire è meraviglioso, soprattutto tra giugno e dicembre.
