We had an amazing experience. Planning: We had to reschedule 3 times due to Covid and other travel restrictions. Paul was very patient with me with all our changes. In the end we went with a private 8 days safari Day 1 Arusha Day 2 tarangire Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater Day 4-5 central Serengeti Day 6-7 north Serengeti Day 8 fly to Zanzibar Safari: The jeep was clean and reliable. Our guide was James, he was flexible to our schedule and always made sure we had the best time seeing all the animals.

From Stone Town and the beaches of Zanzibar to a tented camp in the Serengeti, Tanzania Roadside Expeditions gave us an experience we will never forget. All of our booking questions were answered promptly. The drivers that were assigned to pick us up at the airport and various hotels along the way were professional, prompt, and fun to talk to. Our guide on the safari portion of our trip was enthusiastic about the animals he was showing us. His eyes caught every little movement! The accommodations ranged from luxurious to glamping. Every detail was planned perfectly!

The driver was very flexible and cool. Before we arrived to Tanzania the coordination was fast and helpful. This safari was unique and unforgettable we went to Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti park in 5.5 days. It covered everything and most of the lodges were very nice!! we strongly recommend it!

This 3 day trip was very special, we were lucky enough to see the big 5 and many other animals (Incl cervet cats, wild dogs, hyenas, jackals and many others) in such a short period of time. Ngorogoro crater is very unique and it was really nice to experience the difference between these 3 parks. Our guide was very professional. He drove savely, was very kind and shared a lot of knowledge about the animals and plants. The "Octagon" lodge we stayed at was close to Lake Manyara and it was piecefull and quiet. The staff was friendly and the food was lovely. Paul put together an amazing tour and we'd recommend this organization and hope we come back to see the Serengeti one day. Gr Micha & Leonie

We travelled as a family in July 2022. We visited Tarangire park, Mara region for the crossings, central Serengeti and the crater. It was an incredible experience all the way. We had planned the trip before COVID, so had to postpone. Paul, the manager made the process so easy and professional. Communications were smooth and he is incredibly quick to respond, accommodated all our requests and was patient when we had to change dates and our itinerary quite a few times. When we arrived, we were greeted by Paul, Ezekiel our guide and Daniel who is an intern. Ezekiel was the best safari guide we could have asked for. Kind, knowledgeable and patient; was extremely accommodating of all our requests and took his time in driving and spotting wildlife. He and Daniel made a great team and by the end of the safari felt like family. The wildlife experience was simply extraordinary and too difficult to be described in words. We saw so much of wildlife that there was to see : Lion prides and lion cubs, climbing lions, cheetahs (including a hunt), leopards with kill, a lioness trying to attach a buffalo, elephant herds, giraffes, gazelles, hippos, warthogs. We also saw black mambas (quickly disappearing into the grass), an albino buffalo, 2 black rhino spottings (although it was from a distance), hundreds of wildebeests , zebras, a sevral, hyenas and foxes. We traveled up north to the Mara region and witnessed about 5 river crossings including a crocodile hunt on the wildebeests. We saw so many birds including falcons, kites, secretary birds, lapwings, starlings and many more. Ezekiel patiently taught us all their names and shared his bird book with us. We had some car trouble that Ezekiel and Daniel expertly handled ; we were very impressed how prepared they were for emergencies and how smooth and easy they made it for us. Hands down, it was one of our most incredible travel experiences!!!
