Everything was perfect from A to Z.
From the communication with the owner (John), secure payment, clear communication.
To our arrivals, arranged lodge on the first and last evening.
And to the most important part: the safari itself . Our driver, Frankie, was great ! He had lynx eyes for spotting the best wildlife out there !
Although discrete, he managed to share his extraordinary experience and knowledge about animals, Maassai culture….
We chose the luxury safari, and the lodges chosen (Serengeti and Ngorongoro) were above expectations (amazing scenery, food, athmosphere)
To make it short : we totally recommend ! You should love it :)
Just ensure to bring the rest of the money in cash with you (usd) to avoid wasting time at the bank like we did !

We booked the safari online and I had a very good communication with John about all my questions before we came to Tanzania. We had the 4 day safari (3 nights) in Tarangire, Serengeti and last day in the Ngorongoro crater. The safari guide was very experienced and we got to see so many different animals including the big 5! So I will really say we got value for the money.
The first thing that lower our rating is that the first night lodge was changed one day before the safari started but later when we arrived to the lodge it was changed again to a third one that we had not heard about before. The lodge was nice but not what we booked and paid for. The second thing that lower the rate was the standard of the safari jeep. There was not seatbelt on all chairs and no head rests. Which we really missed on the bumpy gravel roads during the safari. We were compensated by John when our flight changed in the last minute to another airport and another time and he arranged the transfer without any extra cost.
It was not possible to pay the safari with card but John helped us to go to a bank for cash withdrawal.
All in all it was a good experience for the whole family.

We had an amazing time on our safari with Royal Tiger Tours! The driver was good at spotting animals and knew a lot about them. We also had a very good cook! The communication with the organizer went smoothly. The car was reliable and allowed us to have a good view of the animals. We strongly recommend Royal Tiger Tours for your budget safari.

Our experience with this company was highly stressful and disappointing. We were on a 12 day safari. We were not picked up from the airport as promised, leading us to book a hotel room, fearing we had lost our money. After making approximately 50 calls over six hours, we were finally picked up. The company appears to be facing serious financial difficulties.
One concerning issue was the request to pay park fees (USD $400 per day for two people), despite it being included in the package we had already paid. We were promised a refund, but we declined as we doubted we would see the money again. In hindsight, we should have chosen a more reputable company.
The vehicles provided were not as advertised; instead of 4x4 Land Cruisers, we had five different vehicles, none of which were roadworthy. They lacked working seatbelts, which, while not necessary for the safari, would have been appreciated for the long, dangerous drives on bumpy dirt roads. The vehicles frequently broke down, including a delay of three or so hours during the safari followed by limping back to camp.
Accommodation was generally budget level and common issues included bugs and no hot water. Despite the length of the safari, the last night was not booked and we arranged our own accommodation. We also faced issues with water supply, receiving none for the first few days, then having plenty, only to run out again in the last two days. The language barrier added to the challenges, especially when addressing these issues.
While the safaris themselves were enjoyable, there isn’t much difference in the park except other companies had newer vehicles and potentially the guides may have had better or worse English (it’s hard to tell). We missed breakfast once and lunch twice, and a tea tasting was not booked as expected. Virtually the last 3 days we did nothing because the company seemed to have run out of money. Sometimes we had to wait around while the guide had money transferred to pay for fuel.
We strongly recommend considering other companies for a more reliable and stress-free experience.

Fantastic safari led by Emmanuel. His enthusiasm and genuine love of the animals was evident. He was so informative which added to and enhanced our experience. Overall customer care was excellent. Can highly recommend Royal Tiger Tours and Safari’s. John arranged everything perfectly for us and kept in touch making sure that everything was going well.

We visited Mikumi National Park for our last-minute day safari. Our trip was confirmed in just one day of communication with Royal Tiger Tours and Safaris. Our excellent guide, Emanuel, at the park was able to locate a lot of animals for our group. Without doing any driving, our group spotted antelope, lions, elephants, and giraffes, among many other animals. To sum up, we had a great time and would highly suggest Royal Tiger Tours & Safaris to anyone looking for a day trip to Mikumi.

Rogers the Safari manager is hands down one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met traveling. He is as kind, trustworthy, and helpful as they come.
I wish I could jump on a plane and be back in Tanzania! Royal Tiger Tours and safaris is the best! Our safari was amazing and truly life-changing. Their love for the land and animals was evident, and we learned so much. I highly recommend a safari with them, and I would go again in an instant!

We visited Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, and the Serengeti, all of which had the most amazing lodgings imaginable. This journey taught us a lot of lessons. Which lodging establishment should we choose? Since they are all so dissimilar, which is the greatest choice? When would be a good time to go? How many evenings ought we to spend at each place? The smaller details—distances, bush aircraft, packing lists, and travel dates—are crucial when organizing a fantastic safari. We wholeheartedly endorse Royal Tiger Safaris and Tours.

We went for 4 days Meru hike and 6 days safari thereafter. John was always friendly and helpful anytime we had problems. He also arranged any pickup and hotel between our trips.
We missed some information on what to bring but he arranged everything. As he always answers quickly on whatsapp you just have to ask him your questions. His team was also nice and all of them knew so much about the wildlife.
We would always come back!

This was a fabulous safari - we could not have asked for better planning, lodging, game drives and guides. It was miles more than we expected and was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you so much to Irene and to guide Joseph for an incredible 10 days. You both are the BEST! We saw so much and none of it would have happened without John. They are fantastic!
