I traveled with my 18-year old daughter. We had four amazing safari-days, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Richard was our guide and we were very happy with him. Easy to be on the road with, he is very knowledgable and has a lot of respect for the animals. You can tell it's not only a job, he enjoys it and he would let me borrow his photo lens as well when I needed. All the accomodations arranged were good, especially enjoyed the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp. Everything worked very smoothly from being picked up and left at the airport. The leopard eluded us but got to experience all other animals. If we came back I would book through Brown Parrot Safaris again and would recommend it to others,…

Our guide Amani was wonderful from the time we contacted him and he created a trip of a lifetime for us, to picking us up at the airport, taking us on an amazing cultural experience in Mto Wa Mbo, then being the best and kindest guide we could wish for in Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We got to experience everything from the super 7 to lunch with locals in the Masai village. Thank you so much Amani! I’m recommending you to all our friends and if we ever get around to climbing Kilimanjaro it will be with you! I hope we meet again.…

In October 2019 my wife and I spent an amazing honeymoon in Tanzania, much thanks to Brown Parrot Safaris. Our trip included 4 days of safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater as well as a day trip in a local village. After our safari adventure we went to the beaches at Zanzibar and spent about a week there. Before we left Sweden we had great communication with Doris, who is responsible for planning the trips and everything regarding administration. She was very professional and patient while helping us customise our stay in Tanzania. When we arrived at Kilimanjaro international airport, our safari guide Amani picked us up and drove us to Arusha where we stayed one night and also met Doris in person. After one night of good sleep we were finally leaving for the safari! Amani drove us around in the three parks and helped us spot a lot of animals. We were lucky enough to see the big five, which indeed was incredible! Amani is such a nice guy and we really enjoyed getting to know him while spending a lot of time in the jeep. He really loves the animals and is thus very respectful. He is also a really good and responsible driver who never took any risks and never got stuck in the mud, as we saw some other drivers do. You spend a lot of time in the jeep, so it is very important that you are having a good time with your driver and that you feel safe. He is a very kind person and took really good care of us on our trip. The accommodation during the trip was also good - we especially enjoyed Mbali Mbali River lodge and Aileens tree lodge. At these places the food was really good as well, in addition to the nice atmosphere. After our great safari experience we got to have one day in a local village with a guy that Amani took us to. On beforehand, we thought that experience would be very touristy, but we really enjoyed it and it was really interesting to see how the Tanzanians live and what they do for a living. We visited a banana plantation, a local "pub" where they served banana wine and banana beer and also got to visit the market and the rice fields among other tings. The village guide also played us a song by his favourite Tanzanian artist Harmonize, which we still listen to from time to time. We can assure you that Brown Parrot safari will take you on a journey you will never forget and let you experience a one in a lifetime adventure! /Viktor & Lovisa…

Our trip with Brown Parrot Safari was unforgettable. Our guide Amani showed us Serengeti park and really knows how to drive around to discover the most of the game. We saw a lion mother with babies; lions in the night killed a buffalo. In early morning Amani drove us there, we saw the lions eating the Buffalo from a distance of only a few meters. Elephants crossed the road in front of us. Leopards in the tree, almost invisible, but our guide saw them! We also visited a tribe of hunters and joined the hunt; men living in a way people lived thousands of years ago. Everywhere around we saw the Masai with cows, goats, sheep. Amani brought us to a cattle market where we saw the traditional trade. Careful driving, pleasant communication in English, flexible in fulfilling our wishes. No hurries. Altogether we had an incredible journey thanks to a guide who made the most out of it.…
