We chose Tanzania as our honeymoon destination & it didn't disappoint. Once we passed passport control, our guide, George, was there to meet us and take us to our Hotel. We cannot recommend enough Furahia & specifically George. Our experience was beyond excellent. George is a very polite, smart & knowledgeable person who will go above & beyond for his clients. George knew how to make every day of our safari special. From very small things like arranging lunch boxes & making sure we always had coffee & hot water to constantly listening to the radio in order to get a better insight of where we had better chances to meet rare animals. In our 7 days of safari we managed to see all rare animals (Leopard, Rhino, Cheetah), the big 5, multiple animal crossings and 3 chaces! This was mostly thanks to the expertise of George. Our daily interactions with George have been excellent and he did everything in his power for us to return home with a lot of amazing photos & memories. George, we thank you & Furahia for one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. Panos & Martina

We took a six day safari and loved every minute of it. Our guide, Dismas, really made it fantastic. He speaks Swahili, English and French, knows about all the animals, can change a tire and the shocks on the vehicle and occasionally surprised us with coffee and wine in the middle of nowhere. We felt safe and cared for. The experience exceeded our expectations.

From the beginning to the end it was just amazing! The whole organization, all these animals so close and with our driver - Dismas - we were reallly lucky. He es an excellent driver and knows so much about all of these animals so that he notices many of them the others don't notice. Plus, he respects them a lot so he always paid attention that we don't disturb them. And after I lost my cell phone he managed to organise I got it back - 400 km further! Thank you so much for everything, we are so happy we did it! We really enjoyed it that much we already made plans for the next time!

starting from arusha via tarangire national park to lake manyara, mto wa mbu, ngorongoro crater, central serengeti, marariver, lake natron back to arusha. the team around deo shirima did a great job in prepairing the whole gamedrive ; all their advices have been very helpful to get wonderful impressions of nature. our driver/guide george, a member of the massai spoke good german language and he e xplained every animal, flower and tree. his courtesy, his knowledge and his behavior made the trip to an outstanding adventure. it‘s worth not to skimp on accomodations. every evening we made a review and discussed our gamedrive for the next day with the guide - so everybody got an idea what will happen next day. george has an outstanding feeling for finding the right stops taking pictures and videos, whatching animals, hidden places with lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos … so we did the big 5 within 3 days!!! the most impessive adventure was to be in the middle of more than 20 elephants in a distance of one and a half meter, the crossing of more than one and a half million of wildbeest in one run. on a scale of 0 - 10 furahia and specially our guide george will get 12!!!

Dismas was a great driver/guide who spotted lots of animals that other cars drove past without noticing and also listened out on the radio to take us to see animals nearby which other guides had spotted. Two days into our five day safari we'd already seen the big five and by the end we'd seen upwards of 10 male lions. Some people we met on Zanzibar went on a safari to the same parks with a different guide and didn't even see one. I was keen to get to the park gate for opening time each day and Dismas seemed very happy with that even though it meant some very long days for him. I was very impressed with his energy and enthusiasm. Towards the end of the day he'd suggest new areas of the park to visit to maximise our time and did that right up to the end of the five days. I've had many guides in many countries but never one who maintained this level of commitment up until the last minute. He's been a guide for 8 years but we'd still see him taking photos of the animals on his phone camera to show his family. At the end of our safari he was supposed to have a few days off but used the start of that to drive right back to the park and help fix a stranded vehicle.
