If you are curious about big summit climbing and would like to stay on the magic roof of Africa, we can highly recommend the Machame route with ClimbKili to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro in a safe way. We joined the 7 day tour now in December and are totally amazed by the crew, the professionalism, the comfort, safety, friendliness and fun we experienced. An easy five star review to ClimbKili in this case. Yes you have to throw your office body into a tent for several nights and yes it hurts. But I can confirm that the crew is doing anything they can to make it as smooth as possible: acclimatization both to high altitude, thin air and thin mattresses! We were provided a personal toilet tent and George cooked magic food out of ‘nothing’ (wonderful raw materials brought up the mountain, even fresh coriander!) and what’s most remarkable is that at no point we had any stomach issues, despite the basic living. There was one single rule: eat, drink, eat, drink. So we did. And despite heavy wind we made it to the summit, full of energy, on January 2nd together with Daniel & James. It was a rough ride up but when you stay there in the sunrise ‘nothing else matters’. Just you, an awesome panorama from Uhuru peak, and an amazing Tanzania below you. Africa is a wonderful place and we are extremely thankful and proud for having the chance in life to be on such a magic summit with such a winning and strong team. Thanks!

I cannot say enough good about Climb Kili. From the moment we starting planning this trip, through summiting at the top, to going on safari, this company was amazing. They made everything simple and easy for us.
On the mountain, the guides were incredible—so positive and supportive. Even when one of our party developed some knee issues, they carefully shepherded him down the mountain with great care. The food was AMAZING! The porters were so kind and made our life great.
We also learned that during the covid trial when tourism completely shut down, Climb Kili supported their people with food and supplies. How great is that?!
The people here are so friendly and bent over backwards to help us.
All in all, this trip was magical. It was so much more than a hike! I recommend Climb Kili without any reservation and if allowed I would have given them 10 stars.

I don’t even know where to start; from the prep material given us by HQ, to our climb and Safari leaders, everything was very professional, knowledgeable, and amazing! Herment and his team on the Machame route climb led our 8-person group to the summit with no man left behind. His professionalism was unparalleled, the food was great, the team happy and hard-working. We really felt like family when we completed the climb. I CANNOT overemphasize how amazing they were. Without Herment’s knowledge, we couldn’t have made the summit.

Then, with Reggie and Immanuel on the three day safari, it was magical! Reggie was very knowledgeable about all three parks and every animal. He would have us “wait 5 minutes” in a certain place because he knew the behavior of a certain animal, and we would get a “front row seat” to elephants, leopards, cheetahs and lions. He was awesome!

I would not do this trip with any other company. They were perfect!

Highly recommend Climb Kili, both 8 day Kilimanjaro climb and 3-4 day Safari. Tiffany made all arrangements, answered our questions and flexed the itinerary when flights got changed last minute due to COVID. Guides Herment Mosha and Godlove provided compassionate leadership in getting us to the summit with endless insights and good humour. They resolved my mild case of altitude sickness, then sent a guide and porter to rapidly and safely descend one of our team whose altitude sickness wouldn’t resolve. Justin the chef prepared an endless supply of nutritious, delicious, food, snacks and hot drinks to keep us going and the entire support team was terrific. Very important that Climb Kili has license for Kosovo Camp at 16,000 feet for 5-6 hour summit night climb which results in a much higher success rate by saving 1.5 hours over Barafu Camp summit climb at 15,400 feet where most of the other tour companies start summit night. This strategy was key to our success. The Safari included a flight over the Serengeti which gave us a bird’s eye view before landing at park centre where our guide Ben picked us up and over the next 4 days was able to show us almost every type of animal in the park as well as a visit to a Maasai village. Tiffany booked us to stay at Summit Lodge while in Arusha, glamping in the Serengeti and Ngorongo Crater Wildlife Lodge while on Safari. We shopped around before landing on Climb Kili whose value can’t be beat. We will never forget Tiffany, Herment, Godlove, the climb team, Ben the Safari guide, and the wonderful hosts and support staff at all our accommodations that gave us the trip of a lifetime!

What an amazing experience! Our entire group reached the summit with Dismas and his crew. We were saying how grateful we were when we started the track along another group from a different company of eight and only two of them were at the summit the same day we were. Climb Kili checked how well we were acclimating at breakfast and at dinner with a finger device. The food was amazingly good for how high we were, and we appreciated that they brought in fresh fruit and meet halfway through, some thing that I guess is not common with other providers, we strongly recommend giving Climb Kili a shot at the top as they took excellent care.

I highly, highly, highly recommend Climb Kili with Herment as your guide to anyone wanting to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro! I feel so fortunate to have Herment, Omar, Mountain Butterly, innocence and Justin the chef as our leaders! Climb Kili prepared our group well, answered every question thoroughly and delivered an incredible experience! From packing list, to travel plans, guides, porters, climbing details and safari we were thrilled. The food that Climb Kili provided was outstanding also. Herment briefed our group every morning & every evening. His knowledge base was outstanding and his wisdom helped our entire group of 8 summit the top of Kili. I would recommend Climb Kili to anyone ready to take on the great Mt. Kilimanjaro!
After we summitted Kili, the fantastic Climb Kili leadership continued with Reggie & Emmanuel as they guided us through the most incredible 3 day safari finding every safari animal imaginable including lions with their cubs, a leopard stalking a Giselle and the Big 5! The Summit Lodge, Kilima Valley tents, & Farm of Dreams were perfect ways to spend the safari nights. Our group of 4 couples is beyond thrilled with Climb Kili and recommend this epic company to anyone ready to climb Kili!!!

Our group of 2 couples had chosen a different company to climb with but towards payment time, we began to feel very apprehensive. We could not get them to respond to our questions and couldn’t talk to a real person over the phone. We started researching and found Climb Kili, I called on a Saturday and Tiffany took my call. From that moment on, the choice was clear- we switched and never looked back. They were able to accommodate our group with the start date we wanted (which was only a few weeks away.) We received the welcome package and felt very prepared with the packing list and summit tips. Upon arrival, everything ran smoothly from the airport pickup, hotel accommodations and meeting with our guide. Our guides Raymond and James were outstanding and very knowledgeable. I personally could not have made the summit without their constant encouragement and physical help carrying my pack during a challenging time on summit night. We felt very taken care of the whole time. If you are looking elsewhere, look no further. I felt such relief while on the mountain, seeing what could have been our situation with other companies passing by. Thank you Climb Kili for an unforgettable experience!

Climb Kili was a seamless process and made this journey extraordinary. From setting up safaris to making us feel safe and accommodated at the hotel we couldn’t recommend them more. Shout out Rose at the hotel for being fabulous.

Our guides, Veda and Steve, became like family on the trail. They assisted to our needs and we’re constantly checking in to make sure we were physically and mentally okay. They carried extra water when we needed the help and on the summit day supported us going above and beyond to get us down the mountain safely.

The food from chef Ramos was delicious and we were constantly surprised at the new things he was concocting at high elevation. We loved our waiter Dale who helped us stay positive and always reminded us to keep eating! The whole crew was so encouraging, respectful, and loving. It was a difficult and beautiful experience and we were happy to have the crew around us to help us get through it.

Thankful for you all,
-Mama chuga & Dada chuga

A really great company! I did the 8 day lemosho route and what a great experience. I liked this route because it really didnt get busy with tourist until a few days in where you cross with other routes so it felt nice and open. Amani and Tuma were our main guides. They were so kinda and fun to hang out with. We were a group of 6 strangers from all over the world with different fitness levels and speeds and they made it appropriate for each one of us. The team from climb Kili didnt only include guides. We had many amazing and strong and kind and encouraging porter to help with our things ( and cheer us on when we got to each camp) , a cook who made the most amazing soup and dishes, balthzar who's calming voice woke us every morning and made such we got all the food and snacks and tea we needed. At first, I did think I was the type to need a private toilet ( its nothing too fancy ) but higher you get on the mountain , and depending how busy each section was, its a must ( especially as it gets busier with other tourists) The bathroom attendant who was the real MVP. The dining tent was cozy on cool nights and good place for us to debrief our day. They provided water everyday and lots of tea and hot chocolate. I really enjoyed the ginger tea. The sleeping tents were basic but perfect for what I needed. My only suggestion would be to bring your own sleeping pad as the one I rented from climb Kili was not much of a pad at all so the rocks definitely got uncomfortable. I was able to rent a great parka ( which comes in handy on summit day) , poles and sleeping bag which were all great and easy to get on the day one meeting. Amani had lots of good tips to ensure we all got to the top ( clean socks for summit day being number one) and was very patient but it was really the whole team that got us to the top. So many fabulous souls on this trip. Off the mountain, the Company was very organized with constant communications leading up to the trip and kind humans ones we arrived to the hotel. The hotel was a bit far from the trail head so the drive is a bit long but the bus was comfortable. ( we were surprise to have a bus for 6 people but with all of our crew, it took a bus to transport us all) .

Climb Kili offered an incredible experience! They had it dialled in from the initial contact… to the final airport drop off. The ease and competence in which they took care of us was evident throughout the entire adventure. The guides, Veda and Steve (and their team), actually made the trip extra special and I am not sure we would have made it to the summit without their help. Veda’s attuned guidance and unwavering belief, instilled confidence, while Steve’s calm and steady presence set the pace. Beyond being our guides, they also generously shared their love and knowledge of their country…offering lessons I will never forget.

The daily updates that were sent to our selected family and friends was an added bonus. My friends shared that they felt they were climbing the mountain with me.

Overall, an amazing experience offered by an exceptional outfitter.
