I am not sure where to start in my praise for this company. We were connected with David and his amazing company through one of my husband’s work colleagues. I knew before we even booked our flights, that we were in great hands!
We all have preconceived notions about foreign countries. We were so uneducated about Africa. From the minute we landed in Kilimanjaro we were in awe. This country is magical! It is truly beautiful! The people we have met, have all been extremely kind and welcoming. Kilimanjaro airport is cleaner and nicer than most in the Caribbean. We were just stunned.
David planned and delivered the most amazing vacation! From start to finish he is truly amazing.
We started with a 7 day climb on the Mechame route of Mt Kilimanjaro. The crew David has was simply incredible! Climbing Kilimanjaro is not for everyone, but those up for the challenge, it is truly worth it! I will cherish my memories for ever! Not easy, but incredibly rewarding.
As we made it to the gate, Exclusive Wilderness Trails was waiting for us with pride and excitement. I cannot say enough great things about his team.
We had a night in Arusha following climb, which was much needed. Seven days no shower is one slight hardships you have when climbing. David thought ahead and had a room with a bath tub waiting for me!
After our climb, we headed out on a 8 day safari! I can’t say enough about how incredible our safari was. Our guide David, was so insanely knowledgeable about the parks and incredibly competent driver. We saw others not so lucky. We always felt safe and in good hands. Our lodging’s were always very good. The food was also quite tasty. We saw every animal on our lists, even the most elusive leopard!
My wish for anyone considering a trip to Africa, especially Tanzania consider using a local company vs those owned by people in other countries. Executive Wilderness Trails is exactly that. I want to scream from the top of the mountain how good this company is! I would not hesitate recommending them to any friends and family!

My wife and I did a 6-day private safari in mid-February 2020 with David Thadeus as our guide.
The itinerary:
Day 1: Tarangire
Day 2: Ngorongoro
Day 3-4: Ndutu area
Day 5: Central Serengeti
Day 6: Central Serengeti and flight from Seronera to Zanzibar
Our guide David Thadeus was outstanding. The road conditions were challenging but with his skill and experience, we made it everywhere very smoothly and saw the Big 5 and much much more.
David was a great spotter and found us loads of different experiences. A Lion kill was the highlight not to mention the mating inaction of a big lion and a Lioness at their mating season. A spectacular view of nature in action.
There were many other highlights of which was just seeing the vast number of animals in the migration grazing on the plains. Hundreds of thousands of wild free animals certainly make an impression on you.
All in all, it was a highly memorable experience and we would recommend David and his company highly.
Thank you!

Lions! Giraffes! Elephants! We saw them all and so much more! David designed a custom trip for the four of us and it was beyond amazing! We spent about 2 weeks touring beautiful Tanzania in search of the "big 5" and were not disappointed. We saw them all and so much more. Did I say lions? We saw at least 40 lions along with thousands of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, baboons, water buffalo, giraffes, hippos, elephants and so many other animals that we didn't know anything about. David was a walking encyclopedia with his knowledge of the animals (and birds) and their habits and habitats. This made the trip even more interesting as we learned so much. He has eagle eyes and a sixth sense about where to find the animals, and (avoid the crowds). The places we stayed at were stellar and Davids care and attention to detail was spot on. We were wined and dined and taken care of so well that when we had to leave we were bereft. Do this trip, you won't regret a minute of it!

Excellent trip with excellent company to Tanzania
We just got back from 11 days trip to Tanzania. Arusha national park, lake manyara, nadutu ngorongoro, Serengeti . Our tour guy was David from exclusive Tanzania. We had the best time, everything was as planned, we got what we wanted, we felt safe. Nice person, explained everything about the life in Tanzania and animals.we saw a lot of animals ,cats hunting , give birth and more, he knew exactly where to go, Listen to us and make the trip pleasant .each day was well organized, the lodges were booked from advanced.
This is the second time for us in Tanzania the first time we didn’t like the tour guy but this time we can say that David was different. He and his company are excellent ,highly recommended

We went with another couple so there were 4 in a Land Cruiser, with David driving and guiding. David was a perfect guide for us. We were all near 70, and while we are fit enough, we wanted to be comfortable. David arranged wonderful accommodations, the food always excellent, and we always felt that David was looking out for us, arranging details on our behalf that he knew we would appreciate. David is extraordinarily knowledgeable as a guide, and speaks great English - which you can't assume is always the case, we observed. We went in the rainy season, and while that made it muddier, I'd still recommend it because there are far fewer people. But because of the mud, it's worth noting that getting a driver that is experienced enough NOT to get stuck is a big bonus. We observed several other trucks getting stuck, and that often meant staying the night in the truck until help could arrive the next day. The mud on some remote roads is simply unbelievable, so don't go with a driver that hasn't already seen a bunch of rainy seasons, or hasn't got a huge network of friends who can help in an emergency. David obviously has both.
We saw lots of animals, everything we could have hoped for and more. What a great trip! I'd love to go back sometime and yes, I'd choose David as a guide again.

We travelled as a family including parents and 4 children at their 20's. 11 days travel in the wonderful nature parks of Tanzanya and visited the Adzabe, Datoga and Massay tribes. Dave, our guide, planed for us wonderful journey. He has large knowledge about the animals, He knew how to suit himself to the family rhythm and to each of us in the group. He didn't become tired of answering our questions about the people, life and nature in Tanzanya. He choose for us excellent lodging places, drove carefully and keep us in safe. Dave is a gentle person, he has sense of humur and is an easy going person. We highly recomend Exclusive Wilderness Trails.

I would recommend Exclusive Wilderness Trails to anyone interested in a Tanzanian northern circuit safari. They provided an excellent experience and helped tailor a safari to our interests and budget.
Our guide, David, picked us up at the airport in Kilimanjaro and lead us on a 10 day safari. He is very knowledgable of the area, cultures, and wildlife. He was really accommodating of our requests and one of the best guides I've had while traveling.
The whole experience just rules. You spend most of the time riding around in a Land Cruiser with the top popped up and seeing mind blowing landscapes and wildlife. We saw every animal you could ask to see - lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and even black rhinos.
We also visited a hunter-gatherer bushman tribe and joined the men on a morning hunter. It was one of the most unique experiences that I've had.
The food was great everywhere we stayed. Our guide even arranged some barbecue goat at our request which was a highlight.
