Our family had the most wonderful safari experience with Lomo. Every single element was fantastic, from our initial inquiry to arriving back in Arusha and every moment in between. The safari itself was magical. We visited Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks and Lomo’s expert guide got us up close to lions, hyena, elephants, zebra, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons and buffalo as well as a rhino, giraffes and an amazing variety of birds. Tanzania is incredibly fortunate to have such beautiful landscapes and abundant wildlife and we felt incredibly fortunate to have a front row seat to it. As for Lomo, they could not have taken better care of us. Every request we had was met with either an immediate “yes” or an even better suggestion. The guide was knowledgeable and attentive, the vehicle was comfortable and well equipped, the accommodation they arranged was charming and the extra touches Lomo provided made us feel spoiled in the best possible way. As a vegetarian family with 3 young children (2, 4 and 6) we thought safari might be difficult. Instead, Lomo attentively accommodated us at every step. The provided vegetarian meals and snacks were varied and generous and our children were warmly included with patience and care - even being greeted at the airport with non-alcoholic champagne. Lomo was highly recommended to us by friends and after such a great experience we would readily recommend them also.

We did a family day trip in Tarangire with Lomo Tanzania and had a lovely time! The driver Norbert took good care of us with lots of small details which made the day even more enjoyable. I liked particulary their water reusable bottles. Great way to avoid plastic! The Director Erasto was always in contact with us to ensure that we were enjoying. Thank you so much for the great memories 💖

Where do I begin? I was recommended to use Lomo when I was planning my first safari trip for my family of four and my father too. We had specific requirements, due to the varying ages of the group from 5 up to 72 so we really needed someone who would understand the importance of everyone's comfort, time requirements, relaxing places to stay and to manage the expectations of such a diverse group.... Not an easy task. Dealing with Erasto from the beginning I felt completely at ease, like speaking to a friend who took the time to ask the right questions and determine what was needed to provide the best possible itinerary for the group. Several options for itinerary were offered, with plenty of discussion and "tweaking" to get all factors right. Erasto was always polite, gracious and able to offer solutions to any details that needed to be altered. We took a six night trip, slowly taking in three national parks ; Arusha NP, Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Accommodation was carefully chosen and we stayed at the best possible accommodation that more than met our expectations. We were met at the airport by Rahim who was our guide for the entire trip, with almost 20 years of experience we were in very safe hands. Not only his impressive knowledge and ability to spot a species from an incredible distance (none other than a trained eye could know) but his careful driving and consideration for his passengers and his incredible warm personality made him instantly become part of "the family". We were also blessed to be accompanied by Abisae, Lomo's very own professional photographer. Very skilled and professional, he made a welcome addition to the team. By the end of our week together, we felt we had made lifelong friends. Having spotted more species than we could have expected, all expectations of what we would feel from our first safari trip were completely exceeded. Also we felt like royalty when we arrived at the "perfect backdrop" picnic sites, alongside many others tourist eating packed lunches as we dined on freshly made hot foods off plates and cutlery, fresh fruits and salads, wine, beer, juice, fresh coffee, tea and hot chocolate and biscuits!! It's easy for anyone to put together standard itinerary for basic requirements, but with Lomo you are truly experiencing the difference between "off the peg" and "tailor made". The relationships between the Erasto and his staff, along with the partnerships with the hotels and lodge owners are also commendable, like a family working together to provide a five star service for a mid range budget. Can you get your safari for cheaper?... Sure you can! But you risk compromising on what should be most memorable experience in your life as was the case for us. Please let me advise you that I know how difficult it is when planning to make the perfect trip, you can't see into the future to know if you have made the right choice and decision when investing your time and money... But I wholeheartedly recommend that in this company you can trust.
