Myself and 3 friends did a 3 day/2 night safari with Seven Wonders in July 2019. We are all students so our main reason for choosing Seven Wonders for our safari was their prices - they were definitely the cheapest of all the companies we looked at. We chose to joint up with other people to bring the cost down and were matched with a lovely Spanish couple. I am very glad to say the lower price tag in no way compromised our trip. We saw a almost every animal you could think of over the 3 days (lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebra, giraffe, even a leopard and a rhino and many many more). We were definitely very lucky that we saw so much, but our driver was great and really put the effort in to ensure we saw as much as possible.

The lower cost of this safari meant our truck was a little bit older than the other ones we saw in the park and our food at meal times probably wasn't as fancy as people got with other companies, but honestly that makes we barely noticed the difference! We each still had a window seat in the truck and our meals were delicious and we camped in the same camp sites as everyone else so if I was to do another safari I would definitely go with a budget company like seven wonders again.

Evelyn was really easy to deal with during the booking process, she answered all of my questions and was very attentive to our needs both before and after the safari.

So for a budget safari I could not recommend Seven Wonders enough, it really was worth every penny!

We had a seventeen day safari with Seven Wonders. Words can't describe just how wonderful the experience was or how great Seven Wonders Safaris was. Evelyn and George met us in Rowanda and Nicolas took us to our Gorilla trek. We were there for five days with one day of Gorilla trekking. We did get to see the Gorilla's in the wild and it was an amazing experience. The tourism for the Gorilla's is providing the funding that is helping to preserve their habitat and protect them. We also did a walking tour in Kigali that was very good. We were in Rowanda for 5 days and flew to Arusha for another 12 days driving with George. He was AMAZING. One of the kindest men you will ever meet. His Love, Knowledge and Passion for the animals and joy at being able to share them with his guests was evident in his every action. His ability to spot animals at great distances while navigating rough roads was uncanny. He has some sort of Spidy sense! He wanted to take us off the beaten paths and give us a more authentic experience.
We went back and forth with Evelyn early on to customize our trip and accommodations. She was wonderful to work with and delivered an incredible experience. We wanted a local, smaller, Tanzanian based safari company and feel so lucky that we entrusted this once in a life time experience with Seven Wonders Safari's!

Advice;
We upgraded a few hotels and were very happy with our accommodations but I would discuss having hotels close to the game drives or even tented camps closer to the game drives.
Make sure the company does not have mileage limits. Seven Wonders does not but some companies limit how many miles their guides can drive. This can mean that you may not get out away from the crowds.
Bring more cash for tipping. Small bills, lots of 5's. You can easily go through $1,000 a week in tips. And if you get George as your guide you will want to tip him as much as you can......

Thank You Evelyn and George, from the bottom of our hearts. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!

7 Wonders safaris is an excellent safari company to work with. Evelyn, Maurice and George were very responsive and thorough in responding to my questions. Their long history and experience ensures that you will receive a quality Safari. Rather than camping, we chose the mid comfort accommodations. We were very, very happy with the ones they chose for us. Especially the tented camp in the Serengeti, run by very professional young Maasai men, was outstanding. The Rhino lodge, in the Ngorongoro crater, had a magnificent dining room with two back to back fireplaces. The chef there provided some of the best food we had eaten in Tanzania.
We appreciated having Fadili as our 4 x 4 Safari driver, he had decades of experience and it showed in his handling of the vehicle and safety on the road. He also has attended Safari Guide school and was great at spotting the animals, birds and pointing out special trees and plants.

We highly recommend their excellent services,
Connie and Paul

This past February we traveled in a small group to Rwanda through Seven Wonders Safaris. Evelyn could not have been more helpful with her guidance for our tour of this beautiful country. After arriving late in the evening we went directly to our hotel Chez Lando which was great. Our guide, Nicholas Kanyesigye met us early the following morning at the hotel. He was quiet and kind and as we all got to know each other better he had a great sense of humor, was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We were in an elephant traffic jam in Agakera National park and he knew exactly what we had to do.
The accommodations were all unique and exactly what we wanted. The food at each location excellent. The trek in Nyungwe National Park to see the chimpanzees and in Volcanoes National Park were memories none of us will soon forget. Just outstanding. Rwanda is a beautiful country with incredible people. Be sure to put it on that bucket list. You will not be sorry. Thank you to Evelyn and her staff for a well planned vacation to Rwanda.

Prior to booking we had a rough idea of the parks we wanted to visit. Evelyn worked with us to create the perfect itinerary, giving suggestions and info that we would not have gotten elsewhere. She was very responsive and dealt with our many complications (we had a large group with differing travel itineraries).

Arriving in Africa, 7 Wonders took care of everything and made it very easy for us to get to our destination and begin our journey. Along with Evelyn, Rose helped with the portion of our trip in Kenya. We met our drivers day 1, they were extremely nice (Stanley and Geoff) and were just as excited to be there as we were. These drivers were super knowledgeable and navigated the park effortlessly to get us in the right spots at the right time to see the animals. We also had to make a border crossing to get to Tanzania and the drivers helped make that process much easier for us.

In Tanzania we had Jose and William as our drivers. Their expertise of the area and animals led to us seeing two cheetah takedowns, 3 leopards, 5 rhinos, and so much more. It was truly special.

We stayed at four different Lodges / Camps and they all were amazing in different ways. Our favorite was the Serengeti Tortilis camp, where life in the tents was very comfortable and the staff made us feel like family.

We already miss being back in Africa and we cannot recommend enough that people should use 7 Wonders for planning their safari vacation.

Thank you for sharing your exceptional experience with us! We're thrilled that Evelyn and Rose worked closely with you to create the perfect itinerary, providing valuable suggestions and information that made your trip truly unique. Their responsiveness and ability to handle the complexities of your large group with differing travel itineraries are greatly appreciated. We're delighted to hear that upon arrival in Africa, Seven Wonders took care of everything, ensuring a seamless transition to your destination and the start of your safari journey. The enthusiasm and kindness of your drivers, Stanley, Geoff, Jose, and William, added to the excitement of the trip. Their extensive knowledge and skillful navigation within the parks allowed you to witness incredible moments with the wildlife. Additionally, their assistance in facilitating the border crossing into Tanzania made the process smoother for your group. It's fantastic to know that your stays at the different lodges and camps were amazing in their own unique ways. The Serengeti Tortilis camp, in particular, left a lasting impression, offering both comfort and a warm, familial atmosphere. We understand the feeling of missing Africa after such an extraordinary experience, and we sincerely appreciate your enthusiastic recommendation of Seven Wonders for safari vacation planning. It would be our pleasure to assist you again in the future and help create more unforgettable memories. Best regards, The Seven Wonders Team

Did a 6 days safari with 7 Wonders starting from Arusha going through lake Natron to Lobo in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire in August 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. I only had physical contact with the guide and the chef who accompanied us, who were very professional, related to the pandemic, the car was equipped with sanitizer, they provided masks and gloves, cleaned the car every day.

As for organizing the safari and payment we did everything online with Evelyn and George, who accommodated every request we had.

As for the safari itself, it was great, we saw pretty much everything, the guide was very knowledgeable of the parks and the wildlife, having more than 15 years of experience, the chef and it's food top notch.

Highly recommend, especially now since there aren't that many tourists around, and you can see the parks and animal without the big crowds, a very rare occasion, they also need your support during this difficult time, will definitely use 7 Wonders again, thank you Evelyn and George.

An African safari has always been on the top of my traveling bucket list. After researching many groups, reading lots of reviews and communicating directly with the reps, it came down to two tour companies which included Seven Wonders Safari. We wanted an 11-day Kenya & Tanzania safari and selected a tour that included Amboseli National Park and a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. As luck would have it, the Kenya tour company partnered with Seven Wonders to complete the Tanzania part of the safari. We could not have been more satisfied as we got the best of both worlds.

We had completed our 6-day safari in Kenya before crossing the border into Tanzania and arriving at Arusha, where we were transferred to a hotel for the night before our 5 day safari began the next day. We had opted for a private safari for my family of four and were lucky to get one of their best tour guides. Hossa was excellent as he was very knowledgeable on the animals and birds, as well as trees, terrain, and even termite mounds (which are very interesting). The safari included game drives to Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, which Hossa helped us find any and every animal on the plains. We spent time watching elephants lather on mud, baboons playing in the trees, lions tracking prey, and even a leopard stalk and take down a dik- dik. We ended our safari by watching 2 black rhinos. Absolutely incredible sights and sounds which we will never forget and thankful that Hossa allowed us to enjoy those moments.

The Tanzania safari differed from Kenya as the lodging was tents at a community campground with shared bathrooms. However, the biggest surprise and enjoyment was Dixon, our personal chef. He made amazing, delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and would bring us a taste from home. He was also funny, had a warm personality and always had a big smile. The animals and landscape were amazing, but Hossa and Dixon made the trip above and beyond what we expected! Highly recommend Seven Wonders for a Tanzania safari.

My wife and I spent amazing 5-day camping safari with Seven Wonders!

The communication with Evelyn was very efficient and clear from the beginning. Our guide Hossa was super professional and we saw the Big Five and like 20+ new mammals. Guide's wildlife knowledge, dinner stories and customer understanding were on really good level. He really pushed hard to get a journey of a lifetime. Special thanks to our chef Gottfied also, who managed to prepare delicious dinner in basic camping environment.

We saw cheetah family chasing and making a meal of warthogs. Lioness was chasing on buffalos and hyenas feasting on zebra carcass. Authentic and amazinf stuff!

I had really high expetations to the safari, but all of them were exceeded with 7 Wonders. Highly recommended!

I took my family on safaris in aug 2022 after all travel restrictions, we wanted the best. After searching for a while we decided to go with Seven Wonders Safaris and it turned out to be the best selection and perfect safari, we couldn't wish for better service than what we received.

Evelyn answered with details all our questions and concerns that made us comfortable with the decision. Hoza our guide met us at the Airport, taking us to the office in Arusha for briefing. The game drives were filled with big five plus thousands of migrating zebras and wildebeest. The accommodations that Evelyn set for us was perfect and at the best game viewing areas, all were absolutely amazing.

We truly recommend this company and our guide Hoza as they all made our safari to be special in a unique way.
