this all trip was memorable to me and my partner and make it was the help and advice i received from sheika (sorry if i spell wrong the names) , she even went out of her duties as we were quit surprise to see her at the airport. she made sure that accommodation had everything we asked for by coming with us to the lodge and managed to find an itinerary that fit around our holiday (5 days in total) . Mr Msago, our tour guide was amazing , helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable . We enjoyed every moment with him at the parks. We will definitely recommend Connect African Safari’s to any one coming to Tanzania.

As a family adventure, this was a perfect trip. The whole booking procedure and all the arrangements with first night hotel, transfers and the additional walking safari worked perfectly. Our adult daughters happily stepped up at half past five in the morning ready for morning safaris. We visited 4 national parks in 6 days and camped in public campsites. Ben, our guide knew a lot about the landscape animals and animals behavior. He was also great at finding the animals and also getting along even though it was very flooded in both Serengetti and Ngorongoro which was unusual for the time. Isaak our chef was also very good and attentive and so we got good food throughout the trip, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you like campinglife then this is a perfect way to make a safari trip

Thank you for your review and good to read that your trip was perfect. This year the rain was extreme, maybe 2020 is, in general, a strange year, but the game is still spectacular and waiting for you! Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara, and Natron or Tarangire they are all different so every day it will be a new adventure

Oue experience:
If you are a lover of animals and wildlife then i can only highly recommend this safari experience. It was one of the most amazing experiences of our life. Our safari exceeded all our expectations. We learned a lot about and saw lots of different animals, even some rare ones thanks to our great guide Edu! We chose the comfort option and the accomodation sometimes made us feel like we booked the luxurious one instead. The food at the lodges was also great. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. We also had 4 first row views of the great migration of wildebeest and it was simply stunning. It's very rare to see it so many times, but our amazing guide Edu made it possible. We also had some unforgettable nights where we slept and woke up in a tent next to a hippo, monkeys, wildebeest and zebras. We also witnessed a mini "earthquake" created by stampede of zebras. It was simply breathtaking! We also booked Maasai boma visit and a night game drive which were also very nice and unique experiences and i can highly recommend you to consider booking them too.
Tips for future travelers:
Definitely get good binoculars(it will be worth it) and if possible a good camera with a zoom lens. Clothes are not very relevant, you don't need sturdy shoes. But definitely bring good sunglasses. Don't wear overly expensive clothes since they will undoubtedly get dirty. Some roads tend to be very dusty and bumpy so expect to get tired from traveling and expect lots of dust.
Suggestions for the agency:
Only thing we thought of that could possibly make this already amazing itinerary even better is to have at least a day or two where the game drives would be split in two different intervals. One that would start very early in the morning, a break during lunch time and a second one that would last until late in the afternoon. This would be great to see nocturnal animals in action.
Possible improvements:
Lunch boxes were sometimes a bit disappointing which was weird since the food at the lodges was always very good.

We were on a 7-day camping safari in Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Natron. Throughout, we've had a really good time and made unforgettable memories on every single day.
Our guide Adam was always very friendly and motivated. He was great in spotting animals and always knew a lot to tell about them. He gave his best to make us see as many animals as possible and always made sure that we could see and photograph them from the perfect spot. In the evenings he took time to talk with us even more about the animals seen, the parks and Tanzanian culture.
Our chef Godson was great. Always smiling and cooking very good meals for us. He always made sure that we are happy with the food. We were two vegatarians and that was no problem at all.
We would absolutely recommend to go on safari with Shemeji. Thank you for the great experience!

As the first time in a safari and first time in Africa we looked for someone relialble and able to guide us for all the aspect of the vacation.
Shemeji has been a great choice for a reasonable price. Emma was helpful and patient, helping clarifiy our doubts. Communication was constant and punctual thru many months before the vacation.
Accomodations provided during the stay were nice and in some way above the excpectations.
Our guide Pemba was so attentive with us and a font of knowledge about wildlife and more, he gave us many many hints.
Having a person from the operations team that was possible to contact during all the vacation was a nice and very appreciated feature.
I will recommend to choose Shemeji to my friends that want to go to Tanzania and sure I will chose them again the next time.

It was our first time safari and we really enjoyed it. The Shemeji organization was fast responsive and understanding especially when we were forced to reschedule our trip with very short notice on December 2021 due to Corona restrictions. We went for a 5 days safari comfort on August 20222, all the lodges were near the parks, the food was good too and sometimes we felt as just guests of the real living creatures of the parks, we saw an hippo walking very close to our tent, hyenas' sounds and many zebras, buffalos, baboons during our stay. All the staff was attentive and professional. Also our car had a small breakdown, but the issue was managed and resoled very promptly. I would like to mention Joseph, our first driver, very professional and knowledgeable guy. And also our rescue driver Pemba, a charming young driver 65 years old with a great experience but also a lot of passion for this job.
P.S. We just had one minor issue, while the initial booking was with an overnight stay at Ngorongoro in a lodge inside the park (we actually paid an extra for that), arriving at destination we found out the company had changed our booking to another lodge far away from Ngrongoro crater without any previous warning and no compensation. But again overall our experience was very positive

We'd like to arrange a customized safari trip and contacted several safari agents. Compared to other agents, Emma, who was our contact of Shemeji Safari, not only responded our need and requirement but also arranged the itinerary very soon. Our flight arrival was delayed. Moreover, we spent a lot of time for visa. We were a little bit worry that we couldn't meet our local tour guide. However, we just saw our tour guide (and his jeep) welcome us once we left the airport. Shemeji Safari is an agent you can trust. Our tour guide Godliving helped us solve many problems we encountered during the safari. He had many animals and birds books (as well as nice telescope). Although we didn't know how to call (yell) many wild animals in English in the beginning, we could still learn many animals' features and characters from Godliving's vivid commentary and his books. Our safari trip was during late-Jan to early-Feb, 2020.

The best experience my family and I enjoyed! There were a couple of hiccups but the Shemeji team were able to get in touch with immediately via text and sort out the details. I was referred to them by my coworker and I would gladly recommend them to everyone. Neema and Lisa were both helpful from the office and our guide Vincent was A++!
The stays planned in the package were wonderful! And staff everywhere was amazing!

Beautiful Safari in the Northern Parks, 12-day, 11-night tour. We saw Lake Natron (beautiful landscape and very beautiful and interesting hiking with Maasai Guide to see the waterfalls with crossing of a stream in several points), Serengeti (4 days and deserves them all), night hike to the super Serengeti with Maasai Guide (we saw a leopard that was hunting, chameleon, other small animals, but very suggestive at night); then Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Manyara; also visit to the Hadzabe tribes (only this is worth the trip!!! super exciting to see how they hunt and how they live) and Datoga; throughout the trip we were accompanied by our legendary Guide Adson who drove very well and with attention to our safety at all times (we have 2 boys aged 13 and 11); he did everything to be able to show us as many animals as possible (he found a mother cheetah and her baby in the savannah in an incredible place!!); he also explained the customs and traditions of the Tanzanian people. Thanks to Monica for the availability and for organizing the best safari. The facilities were very nice, especially we enjoyed spending 2 nights at the Masai Boma, but it was also special to sleep in the tents (always very comfortable and functional with private bathroom) and the room in Karatu overlooking Ngorongoro; the staff was always very kind in all lodges and we always liked the food (we love the African food a bit 'spicy). The only note is that if you want to have more 'chance to see the crossing of the Mara River I would stay a night' nearby (but of course the cost goes up!), we were further away and that day they did not cross the river! but Nature is not in charge!

It has been amizing. My husband, my daughter and me did a 10 days safari tour with shemeji and with the superb guide DAVID. He was Really good,
Very professional, educated, respectful , drove very good, kept the car always tidy, knows a lot about animals, friendly, found the best solutions...
We had 2 car brakedowns, even the car and the driving was perfect but the roads a really rough, and DAVID found in both cases a very good alternatives/ solutions.
He organized the walkings we made very good. We give him a 10/10. To be honest we have a lot of respect torwards the guides, They do a very hard work.
Everything was perfect. I recommend you, to do walkings combinate with the cars.
We did 4 walks and all of them where superb.
The accomodations are very good too.
The staff everywhere very friendly.
The food exceptional
If you go to Lake Natron shich is beautiful, you can use a local guide callec Lebanguti Moson. He walked us to the waterfalls and to see the flamingos and it was a great experience
Emmanuel walked with us aroind Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu and it was fantastic too...

Hi! We will arrive in Tanzania August 14th and we hope to start our safari the day after 15th.
We are interested in a 4 nights 5days tour of the three parks, Serengeti, Maniara, Tarangire e Ngorongoro cratere.
We prefer to stay in tent lodge with private bathroom.
We also would love to have a early morning for enjoying the sunrise from a scenic point. We are very ongoing we will not fuss about breakfast, we could grab something.
The last day, the fifth, we will need to be drop off at the Kilimangiaro airport in time for our 5:00pm flight to Zanzibar.
I forgot to tell you that we are 4 adults.
At this stage we are collecting estimates.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards
Barbara Aronica

We are considering take a family safari with our two young daughters Summer 2020. They will be 5 & 7 years old when we take the trip. The owners have ensured us that this tour is appropriate for young kids. Has anyone else used this company for their family safari? What are your thoughts? We’re hoping to be able to mix short game drives with swimming at the lodges, visits in local villages, nature walks, Bush skills, boat rides, etc.

Hej,

Very interested in your safari! Can someone please contact me at..... themillersonthemove@gmail .... I would like the following questions answered
1) We will be starting our safari Sept 27, 2019, will we be in the correct area of the Serengeti to 100% see the wildebeest migration. that is our #1 most important thing that we want on our safari! :)
2) if not is there a fly in or fly out option? if so how much more does that cost?
3) if it is possible to fly in OR fly out.... we will be coming from Nairobi and after heading to Kigali. Is it possible to fly into the serengeti in Tanzania from Nairobi Kenya? OR from the Serengeti to Kigali? or do we HAVE to fly into mt Kilimanjaro/arusha?
3) is there a 4 day option?
4) Is there Wifi at the accommodations that we will be staying or do you know if there is Verizon reception around camp?
Excited to hear back from you!! :)
thank you,
Bethany
