Dahlia Tours organized our visit to Tanzania. They put together an itinerary that suited us. We wanted to be more off the beaten track but still comfortable. Our stays at coffee and tea plantations, safari lodge, a beach resort and houseboat were delightful and exceeded our expectations. The underlying organization of the trip meant we had no worries about where we should be and how we should get there. The activities provided - such as local walks and safaris, were very welcome and informative. We were able to get to know Tanzania and its people in a more intimate way, which is what we wanted to do. The itinerary was well thought through so that we had a mixture of experiences with a balance of activity and relaxation that suited us. Zanzibar was a wonderful experience which excited all senses at once. Amazing. The tour Company got to know us and what we liked and disliked. We were initially unsure about how to convey what we wanted from the holiday, but Mama Africa safari made it very easy. They put together an itinerary with the local office. On the holiday we were greeted and looked after from the outset. At each place we travelled to the staff knew who we were and the details of our travel plans, so that everything worked seamlessly. The experiences we had were appropriate and beyond our expectations. Staff, and drivers were professional and we felt well looked after by both the. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable than you Brian & Dahlia Africa safari.

We had high hopes for our vacation to Africa, and Dahlia Africa was exceeded in every way. The personal insight of this travel team on our various destinations was invaluable. He was able to explain why the itinerary was set up the way he planned and patiently answered all of our questions prior to our arrival in Tanzania, as this was our first trip to Africa. While we were in country - he was available to us in the event anything did not go as planned. For instance, one of our flights had a chance of being cancelled due to an airline strike. Our travel planner had at the ready other flight arrangements to keep our itinerary on track and communicated with us regarding the potential flight cancellation. Thankfully there was no airline strike and everything went as planned for the rest of the vacation. Our travel planner had top notch restaurant recommendations for all of our destinations and was more than happy to make reservations for us if they were necessary. We can't recommend our travel planner of this travel team highly enough and will use him again on our next trip to the region.

Samwele and Faza got our group of four to the top of Kilimanjaro in early February 2019 with consideration, fun, and safety. We had some hikers in our group that we're a bit less prepared than others and Faza, Samwele, and Faragi tracked their health, well being, and mood and successful guided our entire group to the top of Kilimanjaro in 7 days. I appreciate what they did not us, especially Samwele, Faragi, and Manse on the summit night. It was one of the hardest things I ever did and with them literally handing my arm and guiding us we may not have made it. Also, Brian, the owner, stayed in close contact with us the entire way up. He also quickly coordinate d a day trip to Tanargere National park just the day after getting down. Thank you all.

It is a very first time to write a review on TripAdvisor. Our group, 2 living in Tanzania and 2 friends visiting us climbed the Kilimanjaro with Dahlia team through 7-day Lemosho route. The whole team was well organised, on time, always supportive and kind with excellent teamwork. They took care of everything very carefully including food, tents, guides, gears etc. I had some difficulties at the beginning because of my health issue but was able to make it in the end thanks to all that support from the team. Especially the hot tea they carried on the peak day helped me a lot when I was struggling with cold, strong wind, altitude sickness. Climbing Kilimanjaro was definitely challenging but enjoyed the journey with the team. Dahlia provides trustworthy, professional service at a reasonable price. I very much recommend them if you want to climb Kilimanjaro.

We had a series of day trips including one to Arusha National Park and one to Tarangire NP. The other two days involved more local activities, one in the Marangu area and one in the Lawate - Sanya Juu area. The weather curtailed a few of our anticipated activities, but what we did get to do was very enjoyable. The food was plentiful and delicious. Norbert was a great driver/guide to the two national parks. Communications could have been a little better at times. That may have been partly due to our somewhat last-minute arrangement of our itinerary, or due to the fact that we were staying at the lodge of a friend of a friend, so we coordinated more often with that friend than with Brian himself.
