Entertaining and old school museum. Nothing tech or new style. A good old school museum, but loved it. Fun and simple but educative and clear. Worth to go if you have to wait for a flight or before a meal at the Novotel( good food there). Very good to go with kids, they will love it if they like techy things. Enjoy... Peace people.

A good little aviation museum, close to the Novatel, a good way to waste a couple of hours. You can actually walk from the hotel 5 minutes.

i have been meaning to visit the museum on both my previous trips but have never had the time.
i made a point of going to the museum (since i am an aviation nut) but was shocked to discover that it had closed.
the outdoor static display is still there and you can walk around it, but the museum itself is apparently moving to a new location.
it was a pity that there were no signs up anywhere (in english) stating that they were closed - i walked around the building twice until i was certain that i had in fact found the front entrance and it was indeed locked.
pity!

On two occasions we arrived in taoyuan too early for the flight, the drivers took us there to pass time. Parking is free here. There is an outdoor aviation museum which is free. For those interested in aircrafts, there is also a paid exhibition centre. You can buy local produce and have a drink while settling final payment with the driver
