This is for sure the most comfortable, fast and secure way to travel within Taiwan. Especially in business class. Enjoy a complimentary drink during the journey in large and comfortable seats. The staff at the stations and in the trains are extremely friendly and helpful.

Though expensive, taxi are easily available and they go by meter. I would suggest to take taxi from one point to another. The meter starts from TWD 85. If you hire taxi for full day it would be more expensive.

Coffee, tea or water with a small desert are free in the business class. There are food trolleys selling foods during the lunch or dinner time including but limited with Bento. They also offer other foods via mail order too
