Very colourful station leading to Liuhe night market. Some shops and food are located at this station.

Since it's a metro stop, it's very convenient to visit. If you're happy to pay NTD 16 to exit and take pictures, it maybe worthwhile. There is a light show which we unfortunately missed. One show time definitely was at 2000.

The Dome of Light is in the middle of the Formosa Boulevard Station where the Orange and Red MRT lines intersect. It's a small area in the station but definitely worth seeing!

The design of the Dome of Light at Formosa Boulevard station is very gorgeous, though the light and sound show was a little bit of a letdown. Suggest to walk out of the station to admire the lighted up arches at night here.

I lived near the station, so I walked pass the subway station almost everyday where I was in Kaohsiung City. It looked more attractive in picture rather than with your eyes (even though it looks extactly the same as on photo). The dome is beautiful...More

The Dome of Light in the subway is a beautiful thing to see! This is something you stop and look at for a minute or two.... then move on. Great for photos.... The area is clean and attractive.

If you're already in the area, go visit this even for 5 minutes. The lights really are lovely and it's amazing to take those Instagram worthy photos. It's like the center of an underground station I think?

Nice place to pass by & hangout for while. Well maintain subway, clean, not overly compact or squeeze with people like in Hongkong or Beijing / shanghai. People are very polite and with sense of personal space, perhaps some mainland Chinese hv to learn from...More

For a few moments walk, one can take a stunning photo of the stained glass ceiling. Otherwise, it's just an underground subway station underneath a busy city roundabout.

An interchange for the 2 lines in the city, we can see people performing at the station but the Dome of Light were rather average for me. Perhaps I do not have the 'artistic cell' in me too appreciate such art.
