You will find all kinds of food stalls here. There is a stall that sells a kind of bun that is stick to the wall of a clay hot 'pot'. My friend bought one and she said it was delicious but you have to eat it when it's hot. I bought some beautiful local-made chopsticks with reasonable price. A good... More

So I have gone to some night markets during my vacation to taiwan and this is my favorite! Love it better than Shihlin, sorry guys.. because the ambience is superb, it is not too crowded. The main street is big. I went to a local seafood restaurant and the food is just simply amazing, bought too many types of street... More

We bought fruit from a lady selling precut boxed fruit and she gave us rmb as change from purchase. We didn't discover this until we returned to the hotel. Mostly local food stalls with lots of fried fish. There is a place that sells snake meat.

We enjoyed this market because it had a wide variety of food. It was a usual night market of size but not overwhelming like Taipei. We enjoyed dinner here on a few nights. The fried soft shell crab is nice and the shells stuffed with seafood topped with melted cheese is our absolute favorite. We ate about 4, but they... More

The Liuhe Night Market is neither large nor varied in its offerings. You won't find many interesting goods for sale, as it's primarily a street food market. There are some very interesting dishes to be tasted though, including a fried oyster/egg dumpling, prawns skewered and grilled alive, and snake soup. For foreign tourists, it's certainly good for snapping shots of... More

This market is relatively small in size but if you are a food hunter, you definitely get to savour some of the best Taiwan's delicacies. There are also a couple of slot parlours along the street and you can try your luck to make your trip more interesting. You will enjoy if you are a first timer to Liuhe Night... More

The Liuhe night market is walking distance from the hotel where I was staying , about 7 min walk.I went there at 7:00 PM. The vendors were selling mostly seafood food & fruits. First, I broused around to see who has the best quality & price, then I went back to buy the things that I like. I bought some... More

If you are used to Taiwanese night market food you will probably be disappointed. if you are near here going is worthwhile. It has the usual food local nightmarkets all seem to have. For a great experience try Nanping nightmarket it is MASSIVE and great food.

Of all the night markets I have visited in my 9 days trip across Taiwan from Taipei all the way to Kenting, this one seemed to not live up to its reputation. I'm not sure if it might possibly be a non-operating day for the night market (we were there on a Monday night)? The market was strangely quiet when... More

The food at this place is not fantastic. There are many seafood stores in the area. The price is not cheap in my opinion. Didn't have a good experience there.
