Not as big as the night markets that you will usually get in Taipei or Taichung, I would say it's relatively small. The stalls sell mainly seafood, which you could get at cijin island at a more reasonable price. There's this papaya milk which is awesome (white banner with lots of scribbles on it) but the main concern regarding this... More

As the name implies, there were many tourists at this night market, including us. We heard the Rueifong Night Market is the one more frequented by locals. But in our opinion, this one did not disappoint. There was a good variety of food available, although some stalls seemed to sell identical products. But we found the food excellent. There were... As I stay at The Cloud hotel which is every near to Liuhe night market. I walk through this market several times. There are many types of food and the environment is very clean even though we eat next by the street. The seafood, Taiwan beef noodles, Chinese Guangdong congee, Deep fried salted chicken, fruit juice, etc. You must find... More

May be Taiwan is not a popular place for Christmas holiday, when we visit Luihe Night market the day before Christmas eve, the place was quite quiet. Not attractive as the other Ruifung night market, where more people and variety of foods and activities

It was drizzling lightly when I visited this night market and yet it was crowded. Most of the seafood are not live but there are a few showing off grilling prawns alive. Unique Taiwanese street foods such as pepper buns and oyster in a bun available here. There is one stall selling grilled pork knuckle and it is so good,... More

Night market had a good variety of food. A number of repetitive stores. There wasn't a large crowd so it was easy to move around unlike other night markets (e.g. Feng Chia night market in Taichung)

This was part of our tour. The location is next to the main MRT station where they have the stained glass. I really like this place as it's well organized with many sit down tables and chairs in the middle of the street, between the vendors on both sides. The night market was not very big, but enough food to... More

I prefer the 花園 night market instead. The BBQ seafood I ate was not fresh enough. The stall will display those fresh and nice looking stuff but give you the others. Be smart when you really want to try some.

I stayed near liuhe but only spent less then an hour walking pass it. Nothing much to offer and compare to other night market, the cost is much more expensive. Visit only if u really have nothing to do

We didn't spend much time but liked to taste local foods. Tourists beware, toilets are difficult to find! No McD or starbucks around so we had to use the shop's toilet and in exchange had to buy something.
