Actually we wanted to go to Ruifeng Night Market but too bad it is closed on Monday & Wednesday. This one is a small one. Not too many to see nor play. When we came there it was crowded because there was a celebration so it was pretty nice to see some live performance.

The good place to grab your dinner with many eateries and stalls that sell local foods. Not quite the scale of those in Taipei, but good enough to serve the basic needs, meaning food, drinks and minimal shopping.

Pros: # A lot more compact than Shilin or Raohe, so you don’t spend hours going through the same old, same old # Loads of fresh sea food # Open a load more often than Rui Fang ! Cons: # If you prefer the madness @ Shilin, you will find his tame – this was the case for me #... More

I noticed that this night market is quite small. Nothing much to shop here other than food. There is 1 food stall that i particular fell in love with, it was the Dan Dan Noodle stall located towards the end of the night market. Find my photo attachment for the correct stall. There is also a BBQ stall whereby the... More

A street is closed to traffic in the evening to be transformed into this night market. Lots of seafood, fruits, local pastries, desserts etc to fill up your stomach.

This night market is highly geared towards mainland tourists, so be prepared to have them shouting in your ears and pushing and shoving you as it is part of their culture. Otherwise, this night market is alright, most food stalls are selling seafood. Not sure if they are overpriced though. Only worth a visit if you are staying nearby. However,... More

Liuhe is a very crowded night market which is open everynight. There are scores of Chinese tourists who visit the market by tour bus. The street is lined many delicious food stands.

You will find all kinds of food stalls here. There is a stall that sells a kind of bun that is stick to the wall of a clay hot 'pot'. My friend bought one and she said it was delicious but you have to eat it when it's hot. I bought some beautiful local-made chopsticks with reasonable price. A good... More

So I have gone to some night markets during my vacation to taiwan and this is my favorite! Love it better than Shihlin, sorry guys.. because the ambience is superb, it is not too crowded. The main street is big. I went to a local seafood restaurant and the food is just simply amazing, bought too many types of street... More
