Probably one of the worst night market in Taiwan though, the night market is much more smaller in scale and only sell food. As that day is raining, the crowd is little and many of the stalls are not open. Food wise as compared is not as tasty. Not recommended to visit as even the local advise us not to... More

Less crowded and packed than Ruifeng night market but offer lots of good food. I choose to stay at Sunnyside hotel so Liuhe night market is literally at my doorstep. Recommend to try: 1. Papaya milk 2. 烤肉之家 3. Seafood porridge 4. Black pearl milk tea

Have seen quite a few night markets all over Asia, and this one seems special not just for its size and diversity of offerings but for how many vendors are serving up half a lobster on ice. I was impressed with a number of other offerings as well. Easy enough to get there by MRT to/from my hotel -- the... More

When you hear the word market you tend yo think that the place is dirty but you are terribly wrong here. Food taste great and is very cheap(if you convert to dollars worth paying a visit especially the fried chicken breast)

Medium sized nightmarket centered on food. They offer wide range of seafood and taiwanese snacks. My personal favourote are small bird eggs woth shrimp.

I went to this night market for three times. This place has so many stuff to eat. It's like 15 blocks long. I start buying once I entered to the market, by the time I get to the middle of the market, I already feel full. And I still saw so many good foods, but I couldn't handle that much.... More

I love night markets. But in this one you can enjoy very good food as well as cultural stuff. Specially seafood. It's prepared right in front of you. Even if you don't speak chinese, you can choose by the eye. Looks good, usually tastes good. Near the city hall metro station on orange line.

But if you've been to air markets in Thailand you will be disappointed. Seemed more touristy and not for the locals. Did enjoy the papaya smootie... it's a must try if you go. Also all the fresh fruit and seafood.

Got here right when it was opened, and crowd was already starting to build up. Decent food for cheap prices. Some stalls were selling the same items though. Watch out for the motorists that ride though the night market.

Very nice night market with many different food options. A bit crowded but a must see if you are staying in Kaohsiung.
