Driving along Su-Hua Highway from Hualien to Yilan, you will come across this cliff, many people stop at the roadside to take some nice photos of the sky, cliff and sea. The view was breathe-taking all the way to NanFangAo, I enjoyed the view the whole time and I too took some photos. The wind was strong too.

Great morning drive to head out along the highway to the cliff. Really beautiful and stunning coastal line. If your on a bike, be aware that lorries travel fast and often do not make the whole bend!

the high steep cliffs plunge straight down into the sea with the highest relief point being 2500m! from the viewpoints it logos like some surreal artificial computer generated backdrop rather than part of planet earth. if you are visiting nearby taroko make the effort to also see this if the weather is nice

We coming here in rainy day. It's not worth in Taroko national park. If you are free and have more times, you could go here

Take a little detour seeing the cliff on your way to Taroko, but its not as amazing as the Taroko gorge. Still pretty cool, though.

A must-visit to this stunning cliff landscapes. The view was awesomely good on a perfect sunny day. Look out for traffic when taking photos and stay safe. Avoid weekend crowds if possible.

We drove by ChingShui Cliffs (a 21km stretch) enroute to Taroko Gorge from Taipei and the views from the road were breathtaking! There were quite a number of viewing stops along the way however they were all on the opposite side of the road. It would have been a lot easier to stop at viewpoints if we had been travelling... Amazing views, highlight of trip to Taiwan. Recommend a tour guide to drive you there. Looks nice even on a cloudy day. The colour of the water is due to a chemical in the marble stone along the coast apparently. It's a brilliant light blue. Take your camera, enjoy the amazing g views, and check out the old highway while... More
