I visited Ching-Shui Cliff 3 months ago, although the weather is rainy on that day, it really worth the trip! it is beautiful!

Just a short drive away from Taroko National Park, my friend and I hired a cab to take us to this place. The cab driver was nice to bring us to 3 spots on the highway where we had slightly different views of the cliff although on hindsight we were charged a little too much for the cab ride (round... It looks beautiful however it's Juz a stop and see for like 10mins. It's worth having a look at the Pacific Ocean however it's really more of a stop over.

There's no better way to end a day in Taroko national park than arrive to this spot. The viewing platform offers a stunning view of the cliff and sea. The water changes color quite dramatically, due to major fluctuations in the dept of the sea, thus creating an amazing super saturated blue. There's a short path that goes down the... More

The view of the cliff is beautiful. On one side you have the high mountains, impressive and disappearing in the clouds, and on the other side, hundreds of meters down, the sea.

The view of these almost perfectly vertical cliffs will take your breath away. The day I visited, the upper mountains were covered on silvery mist--exquisitely beautiful. Below, the lapis lazuli blue of the Pacific Ocean. The highway that has been cut into these hills, and the train tunnels, are feats of engineering. Totally worth a visit!

Definitely worth a visit (if you have time), as the cliff offers an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean with astoundingly clear water. The attraction does not offer any activities to do, other than snapping photos. So, if you're planing your itinerary, 15-20 minutes would be more than sufficient! Would be good to research on the weather condition before visiting!... More

This is a beautiful ocean side road and probably the best in Taiwan. The east cost of Taiwan has much more scenic and beautiful views than the west coast, in my opinion. Be prepared for mountain roads and lots of switch backs though. If you are on a two-wheeler, then definitely come for a ride through this part of Taiwan.... More

This is the end of the Su-Hua Highway in the Hualien area. Very similar to Big Sur of the California coast. A great view of the cliff meeting the sea.
