We took a customised 11 days tour around Sri Lanka though Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Horton park, Yala, Galle and many other places enroute.
We were driven by Janaka who was a very conscious, prudent and punctual driver.
All locations were superb and accommodations were top class, even if a little bit secluded from the hustle and bustle of the towns (which may turn out to be a bonus, if you like).
Our recommendation would be to provide a further level of detail in programme on indicative prices for the potential extra activities so that you can actually calibrate how much cash to bring/withdraw in advance (most of things work cash). Tickets for parks and monuments can be really pricey for foreigners and they could easily be advised in advance, just as a rough order of magnitude for guided excursion.

We travelled for 12 days through Sri Lanka with Pearl.
Once I got in touch with them they (i.e. Hiruni , excellent support * thanks so much) immediately responded to my request and after some emails the trip was planned and fixed.
The interaction was perfect, quick response, good understanding of our thoughts and requests, fair value for money pricing.
On the tour itself we had our private guide and driver, Isuru, who did an execellent job. Beside his safe and responsible driving he told us so much about life in Sri Lanka, its culture, made very useful proposals to finetune our schedule and was also so supportive eg during the safaris. Still a miracle to us who he could spot a hare hiding in a bush or a 5cm perfectly camouflaged bird on the ground * just eagle‘s eyes :-)
We can strongly recommend Pearl and Isuru for a private individual trip!

Pearl Lanka organised the tour perfectly according to my itinerary. We managed to tick off all the points I wanted to see in 3.5 days: from Galle and beaches down south, the elephant safari in Udawalawe National Park, mountain train from Ella, tooth relic temple in Kandy, to the ancient sites of Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, and Dambulla.
The price was very competitive - around half of what two other travel agencies quoted for this itinerary. Hotels in Matara and Kandy were ok, while the bed and breakfast in Ella (Marvellous Inn) was amazing - breathtaking views from the terrace overlooking the valley.
I was travelling solo from Colombo with a driver provided by Pearl Lanka. Wasantha was an excellent driver, a great guide, and a fun companion during the entire tour. He knew everyone at all the stops and suggested additional attractions, such as a visit to the tea factory and a traditional dance show, ensuring I got the most out of the tour.
I can safely recommend Pearl Lanka and would suggest asking for Wasantha in particular when choosing your driver!

I was travelling with my family which included my parents, wife and my child. The trip went exactly as planned. The hotels chosen were 5* and they were luxurious. Our guide cum driver Mr. Sandaruwan was a professional and his driving was extremely safe. He knew all the routes by heart. The entire itinerary was such they we did not feel exhausted even once during our trip. Thanks Pearl Lanka team for making this as a memorable trip.

From the beginning until the end it was the best holiday ever and our expectations have even been exceeded. We have been travelling as a group of 3 with my wife and daughter. We had the luxury of having our own german speaking guide ( Buddika) with whom we created a very sincere friendship over the days as well as a driver with that being said we always felt comfortable , safe and treated like VIPs all the time. The bus (we also had the luxury of travelling alone) was very convenient as in 9 days you travel quite a bit. Our "companions" always made sure we feel comfortable , have enough to drink, etc. The tour chosen was very exciting, challenging and so much fun. Every night we fell asleep with a big smile because of what we have experienced. The Hotels chosen (we decided to take the 4* option) were each and every one excellent and on this we did even regret not to stay longer. The communication with the agency was perfect. Already in the planing and booking stage each and every question was answered precise and fast. Not like with other agencies where we had to wait for replies and they were lacking full coverage of our questions. We can fully recommend Pearl Lanka agency with out any single complaint or room for improvement. Simply perfect - We come again!

Ms. Hiruni from Pearl Lanka provided a wonderful itinerary in response to our request for an 8D7N trip. We were arranged in 4-star hotels with lake and sea views in various areas. Thank you to Mr Lohitha, our guide, for his flexibility in making our vacation ideal. The journey was enjoyable, and we had a good time in Sri Lanka. Side note, some of the itineraries described may not be exactly what we experienced i.e. When we arrived at Gem “Museum”, is actually a Factory. Turtle hatchery is designed as a circus-like tourist attraction. Finally, our experience at Yala Safari was rather uneventful as we did not see much variety of mammals during our Morning trip, however, the safari guide had put in his effort in searching for animals for the entire morning. Overall, our experiences in Sri Lanka are pleasant and nice.

Fantastic experience all the way through the booking process , meet and greet at the airport.
Our driver was fantastic Eeshan who was not only an excellent driver but a great source of information about life in srilanka and introduced us to the local customs and delicacies. He was super caring and fun..
10 day tour .. including elephants, hiking, train riding, safari, tea plantations,whale watching, chilling at the beach, visiting temples and busy towns.

We have just had 11 idyllic days travelling around Sri Lanka. Leave your itinerary in the capable hands of Hiruni at Travelling Pearl Lanka. She arranged awesome value 4* hotels for us, following our son’s school cricket tour, and when we needed to make last minute changes to chase drier weather outside of Colombo, nothing was too much trouble. 𝔾𝕒𝕪𝕒𝕟, our driver was fantastic and when the Proteas come to play test cricket in Sri Lanka again, we will be back. Add Sri Lanka to your bucket list, tell Huruni what you’d like to do and Travelling Pearl Lanka will look after the rest.

Raj, our guide and driver was courteous and knowledgable on our 10 day tour from negombo around the centre and south of the island. We saw all the highlights we planned plus some more. Raj was always on time at pick ups and gave us a great insight into Sri Lanka and the people. He even sourced a new hotel when a pre booked hotel let us down. We can't recommend him and Pearl Lanka highly enough. Great service from Hiruni at the office who responded quickly to all our questions pre-tour.

I contacted Pearl Lanka services thanks to the internet reviews and the quality of the service, not only in the tour itinerary proposal, hotels chosen etc but also in the speed and kindness of the response make me hired their services. The result was very good. Mr. Chanuka, our drive was an excellent person who took care of us during the whole trip and suggest us in every moment about what to do . Hiruni, the travel agent, also made a fantastic work and was on the other side of the line in case we had any problem.
