Best surf school with best instructors!
I started surf there and believe that it one of best spots for beginners! Not so crowded, good waves
But the best is people. Our instructor was Malle and I so grateful for professional and caring approach, great sense of humor and my progress in surfing!

I took surfing lessons with my friend at Ahikava school, our instructor was Malle. He is the best of the best! Very good explanation, a lot of support and fun, interesting lessons and safety. He is very good teacher and easy-going person, can feel the people pretty well what helped us a lot to rely on him and surf!
The other teachers in the school were also very nice and friendly, everyone tried to help us and guide when we surfed without our teacher.
Nice spot for the beginners, good waves but not that crowded as in Weligama. Great instructors in the school, nice food and relaxing area.
Highly recommended!

Private lessons were very good to learn how to surf, you have an instructor with you in the water that helps you stand up and gives you tips. Staff was very friendly. We decided to come back the next day

A great place to learn surfing. Very friendly teachers. Very good price. You can also rent the surfboard. I recommend to everyone! We had a great time here.

It was just a pleasure to learn surfing at the ahikava surf school. The people are just very nice, the atmosphere at the beach was relaxing. Especially i want to thank Malle for the great helpful and professional surf lessons.

Great surf training for one hour. Very supportive and caring - we made it in 30 min to stand on the boards and made some nice rides. Very friendly and professional - cheers guys 🤙🏽

My 9 year old son spent a week taking lessons with Lara & Rizvi of Ahikava Surf School and I can recommend them and the school 100%! They are great teachers and are great with kids (and adults - I took a few lessons too!) They are the best teachers we have had and my son quickly progressed from never having surfed to riding a short board on big waves! We love their facilities and everyone we met was amazing. I highly reccommend them if you want to learn to surf or refine your skills! We will definitely be back!

We kind of did not know what to do in unawatuna because it seemed quite here due to corona times. But luckely we found this surfshool. We got surfboards, get to know the very talented surf teacher Lassa and great people in the chilled cocktail bar next door. With house music and good drinks we enjoyed warching people Surfing. Prices are very fair. Definitly you must catch a wave here.

Nice surf school. Decent prices and professional coaches. Sahana beach is the best place to go surfing around unawatuna/galle if you are a beginner.

We went to this surf school in May had lot of surfing and fun. We returned back they welcome us like their long time friends. They all so happy to see us again. We had another session with Aslam and his team, they were simply getting better and better. Nothing can stop their growth. Very happy to see them again and we will definitely come back with our friends soon. Good luck Ahikava team. Best Surfing School in Sri Lanka.

Hi, do you offer 1 half day or whole day deepsea fishing tour? I am a serious angler and I am interested only in a fishing tour with other experienced anglers, and not the "tourist or family" type fishing tour. I will be in a hotel in Galle on 18 Dec 2015 and will need pick up and send back to my hotel Appreciate your responses, thanks.
