The lighthouse looks great but you can only see from the outside. Would be a logistical nightmare to arrange for people to see inside.

Beautiful view, clear sea for those who want a little swim. Great for a walk and pictures. Just a shame you can walk up inside the lighthouses.

Easily accessible within the Galle Fort, this is a historic monument but is not unfortunately in a working condition. There are breathtaking views out to sea from its environs, and the surrounding area has many interesting things to see as well as restaurants.

Nice place for pictures. Go to Galle fort and then just walk next to the wall until you see it. You don't need a tuktuk.

The Lighthouse started in 1938 by the then rulers is history now. Operations are carried from other place close by. you can visit it from outside though.

The lighthouse is a more recent addition to the fantastic Dutch Fort but still an incredible spot to see the shoreline views and meet-up if you separated from a tour or family

As you walk round the Fort you can't miss the lighthouse. You can't go in it but there is a history around it and does make a good photo. The original lighthouse dates back to 1848 but was burnt down and moved 100 metres to...More

This is an attractive lighthouse. It is right on the wall of the city. It is a popular place for people strolling along the wall of the city.
