Bhathiya is an amazing tour-guide, driver and a friend. We feel very blessed meeting him. We went on 10day trip across Srí lanka with him and everyday was unforgettable. Bhathiya is very warm, pleasant, intelligent, welcoming, communicative, receptive, polite, honest and kind. He made the best deals for us, arranged unique accommodations, helped us with everything we needed and he also tried his best to make us happy all the time. The service he provided for us made our holiday yet the best holiday we went to and we highly appreciate it. We recommend Bhathi to all of you and we are very thankful for meeting a person like him. Itinerary that he made for us was very good organized and very very beautiful- places where he took us were unreal, hotels where we stayed were unique, clean and exceptional and the best kitchen that we had in Srí lanka was at Bhathiya´s home where he invited us for lunch that his lovely wife provided for us. Thank you Bhathi for everything you did for us, we are very happy we met you and we are hoping to see you and Srí lanka soon

My friends who were on their honeymoon in Sri Lanka had recommended Bathiya tours so I knew that I would not be disappointed.
Bathiya was with them at the time so was unable to do the tour personally. However, he made all the efforts in finding a suitable replacement so that I could also have an amazing experience.
I explained that I was pressed for time and really wanted a day around the south coast mainly Galle and the beaches.
Bathiya took all my ideas and suggestions on board and tailored a itinerary which covered the main attractions so that I could get the real Sri Lankan experience.
This included a trip to the tea plantation, Galle Fort, Hikkaduwa beach (where I saw and could interact with sea turtles), the Madu river boat safari (which I really recommend), lunch at an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant called Amal (the food was mouth watering) and finally a visit turtle conservation centre.
This day was jam packed with activities that I might have struggled organising alone as a solo traveller (Sri Lanka can be a bit tricky to navigate as a backpacker). It also helped that I got dropped off at my next destination as part of the tour package.
All in all my day was made more special by Palitha. Palitha is Bathiya’s colleague who accompanied me on this trip. Palitha was super engaging, he shared some interesting facts and knowledge about Sri Lanka. Not only did he have sound inside knowledge but he was extremely hospitable and professional.
You can tell both Bathiya and Palitha are passionate about what they do. This isn’t just a business for them. They went above and beyond to accommodate my traveling needs and were extremely kind and thoughtful to get an itinerary that suited and worked for me. I think it’s fair to say that doing this tour was definitely one of the highlights of my trip in Sri Lanka. Thanks for making it so memorable guys and thanks again for an amazing day!!!

Bhathi truly made our trip as wonderful as it was. He is very knowledgeable about his country and worked with us to create an individualized itinerary. We did a 3-day yoga retreat, sightseeing around Kandy, visited temples, hiked, saw the “tooth,” stayed in a treehouse where we listened to elephants at night, and finished with a few days at the beach in Mirissa. The success of this trip was greatly enhanced by Bhathi’s companionship. He was a true partner for two weeks, he knows the people at many of the places we stayed which streamlined everything we did, and we enjoyed his company. He offered for us to stay in his apartment before flying out but we decided to stay an additional night at the beach instead. Yet, Bhathi’s wife provided us with a homemade lunch to sustain us at the airport. She also gave us a cake when we landed at the beginning of the trip and once in the middle of the trip. In short, Bhathi is a professional, knows how to take care of his clients, and greatly enhanced our trip experience.

The tour planning was arranged from back home and Bhathi was always reachable. Once arrived in Galle we were invited to Bhathis home for a delicious dinner cooked by his wife. This was by far the best Sri Lankan food we had in 2,5 weeks travel. We became to know that Bhathi will be occupied with another tour and that another person (Fouzer) will do the tour with us. This was a surprise since we were under the impression that Bhathi will run the tour but turned out to be a great choice. Fouzer was always very knowledgeable and more important a very safe and chilled driver. Fouzer always adjusted the tour for our convenience and proactively let us know/discussed the next steps with us. Bhathi took over for the last three days and finished the tour with us. Bhathi also did a great job and was always in close contact with Fouzer/us and everything was well organized in advance. We can highly recommend Fouzer/Bhathi and would always do another tour with both of them.

We did a 10 days trip with Bathi which was amazing. He provided us with a example tour which we could then adapt to our wishes. Communication beforehand was very good and he planned and organized everything .
When we arrived at the airport he picked us up with a super nice car and some homebaked cake.
We explored Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuawara Elyia, Ella, Tissa and Galle and did some extra activities like white water rafting, massages and he also gave us a yoga lessons :)
During the current situation in Sri Lanka we felt always very safe with Bathi, and he also always checked which restaurants are open and can also provide food during a power cut. He also prepared the trip to have enough fuel so we never had to worry that we will run out of it.
So a big thank you Bathi for this amazing tour and showing us Sri Lanka.

This was the second time we have enjoyed Bhatiya tours. Our goal this year was Yala national park. It was quiet good experience. Bhathiya is a good driver, there were also some topics to discuss around the trip such as other places of interest and even some Sinhala language basics another time.
Actually I remember that the last time we have enjoyed some curry with prawns and a piece of banana cake made by Bhathiya’s wife. It was very delicious, and this time we had some chocolate cake which was amazing too.
In Yala he recommended us a good guide who has showed us many interesting birds and other animals. Unfortunately, this time we haven’t seen the leopard, but we should come next time to see these beautiful creatures-thanks we know Bhathiya and his excellent tours!

My wife and I recently had the great pleasure of Bhathiyas’ company over the course of our 13 day tour around Sri lanka (Sigiriya,Kandy,Ella,Udawalawe,Galle & Hikkaduwa).Actually an amazing trip with Bhathiya, couldn’t recommend him anymore- absolutely amazing. He took us to local gems for sightseeing and food places, away from overly tourist destinations. His organisation and ability to adapt to our demands is a huge positive and allowed our trip to be personalized to what we wanted. During that time Bhathi was a great ambassador for his country, culture and people. We found his service to be punctual, friendly and considerate.I could not have asked for a better guide/driver for us! Bhathiya listener carefully to everything we asked for and ensured we got all we wanted out of the trip. He was very understanding of our needs and respectful of our wishes and requests, while being informative and good humored.
Bhathi has exceptional driving skills,we felt safe traveling in Sri Lanka’s at times challenging traffic conditions.
He is a wonderful guide and host willing to go the extra yards
We are grateful for his company and guidance and thankful for the value that he has added to our journey and specially should mention

We had Bati as our driver/guide for a a trip from down south (Galle way) to Colombo. Apart from the high quality of his car and his driving, Bati was incredibly knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. its history and places to visit.
His English is excellent, which added to our enjoyment of our time with him.

Bhathiya is very hard working and nothing is too much trouble. From organising his wife to make us a beautiful cake to real time feedback and assistance,his service is exceptional.
