I recently visited Daewangam Park this summer, and I can't recommend it enough, especially for morning walks! This park is absolutely stunning, and there's no better time to experience its beauty than at sunrise. Walking through the park in the coolness of a summer morning, before the heat of the Korean summer kicks in, is truly refreshing. The calm atmosphere and the fresh morning sea air make it a perfect start to the day.

Daewangam Park has always been a great spot for nature lovers, but with the recent additions of the suspension bridge, kids playland, and campground, it’s become even more enjoyable for families. The suspension bridge offers fantastic views and adds a bit of adventure to your walk. Kids will have a blast at the nearby playland, which has plenty of activities to keep them entertained. And for those who want to extend their stay, the campground is a great option for a weekend getaway.

Whether you're looking for a peaceful morning stroll, a fun day out with the family, or a place to relax over the weekend, Daewangam Park has something for everyone. It’s a wonderful blend of natural beauty and family-friendly amenities that makes it a must-visit destination in Korea!

Strong winds ain't stopping us from snapping away pictures of this amazing location! Blue skies, paired with clear sea and beautifully shaped rocks and cliffs. Definitely a gem in Ulsan! The entrance to the park is connected to a giant suspension bridge which directs you to a breathtaking views the park has to offer. There is also a little seafood market just by the rocks - how cool is that?!

Daewangam Park is another beautiful park in Ulsan and its coastal location makes it even more scenic. From the parking lot there is an impressive pine forest before reaching the water. The highlight of the park is the namesake rock island which is connected by a steel bridge. The pathways ruin the scenery a bit but it enables visitors to get multiple perspectives safely. The surrounding areas by the rock is just as impressive and the park is just a pleasant place to spend a few hours.

The weather is very good. It is recommended to cross the bridge to the viewpoint. The wind is blowing strong. Even though the weather was hot on the day we went, the wind was blowing strong and it was cool and I felt comfortable.

This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in Korea. It's located in Ulsan about an hour away from Ganjeolgot Cape. The sheer size of the park is actually incredible. At the entrance there are plenty coffee shops and restaurants as well as a playground for kids. There is also an insane amount of walking trails. With signs everywhere, it's hard to get lost. There is a forest trail that leads up to the stunning suspension bridge that sways in the wind. On the other side of the bridge, you can walk to the shoreline, use the exercise equipment or have seafood on the rocks. Spanning further out is a stunning bridge built between sweeping rock formations. If you walk to the furthest end, you reach the highest point on the rocks and can look out into the East Sea. What an incredible place.

This place looks like it just came out of a painting. It is so windy up there but I cannot missed to picture each and every angle of it. It is a bit adventurous but I sincerely recommend this place to everyone. It is definitely worth it!

One of my favourite parts I visited in Korea. The park itself is very pretty, and they have a long suspension bridge which lights up at night and can be seen from Ilsan beach. There's a pretty lighthouse in the middle of the park, plus plenty of winding tracks showing of the rocky coastline around the headland.

The money shot however is at the tip of the park, where the stunning Daegwanggyo Bridge over to the tiny Daewangam rock... the whole area is super picturesque and a must see in Ulsan.

We passed by this area after our business tour for a short walk and sight seeing. I really recommend that you don't miss this park. From dragon statue playground to rocky cliff is about 10-15min walk. There are restaurants nearby. A breathtaking view on the cliff. Diving not allowed. We didn't see anyone swimming too. Rocky area.

Excellent place for a walk by the sea on rocks and trails by pine trees. Lovely blue ocean and layers of rock formations by the waves.

I took a city tour bus to tour around the city. It cost 10,000 won (if you travel via ktx, I think they have discount on the city tour bus ticket). The Daewangam Park is very refreshing, with a lot of pine tree, and it's definitely a great place for jogging too. It took me about 1 hour to walk around the park. In fact Ulsan is a very beautiful city and I definitely travel Ulsan again. (Will definitely rent a car next time to see the nature side of Ulsan)
