A car is essential for discovering the natural wonders of Jeju Island, Seopjikoji is located Southeast of Seongsan. After parking in the small and at capacity carpark we made our way passed a few restaurants to the start of the sealed path which extends along the exposed red volcanic rock coastline. On the day of our visit it was blowing a gale and the path was crowded and congessed making passing difficult and unpleasant at times. Our group took the time go off track and explore Hyeopja Yeondae Smoke Signal Stations from the Joseon period (Special Monument No 23-2). At the end of the trail was a lighthouse.

It’s a nice walk, a bit windy. We walked past the candy house to the light house and all the way past the glass house. It didn’t take too long. We got there around 10am and there’s a large carpark, parking fees was KRW1000.

Seopjikoji plays second fiddle to Sunrise Peak as the popular tourist attraction in Seongsan. I actually liked it a lot better because you can actually get a great look at the Sunrise Peak from Seopjikoji Cape. The two resorts (one of them looking abandoned) on the area is a bit of an eye sore but the eastern end of it has some spectacular views. A picturesque house that was a filming location for a Korean TV show is a popular photo spot along with the lighthouse and the rock formations on the water.

It was a short hike going up, although it's not an entirely even path. The views are wonderful but not necessarily breathtaking, photos turned out beautiful though. There are a few food stalls nearby. Interesting to try but definitely a place where they expect a lot of tourists. Overall, it was an interesting place to visit.

This attraction is near to Seongsan Ilchulbong and is often overlooked by travellers. It offers an amazing view of the ocean and a unique volcanic coastline. Beaches are dotted with black volcanic rocks. The walk up to the lighthouse is easy and suitable for all ages. Cater around 1 hour when visiting this place.

Located in Cape Seopjikoji of Jeju Island, this place offers you a lovely view of the open sea and some interesting rock formations, especially from the Bangdupo Lighthouse. There's a trail leading to the lighthouse and a few steps. Along the way you'll see an apparently abandoned ginger bread house, some piles of rocks formerly used a smoke or fire signal stations, and a small place for horseback riding. The walk is quite refreshing and easy. Highly recommended!

Visited during autumn season, with the cold breeze and sunlight around, the walk up to the lighthouse was rather comfortable. The scenery of the sea, rocks and the nature itself was simply amazing. Worth the visit for great photoshoots.

My dad had second stroke, thus he is walking with the help of walking stick, this place is quite nice, though it is consider a long walk to him but he managed to finish the course. Very accessible but unfortunately, we came in early May, not much flower, just green.

Seojikoji is definitely a beautiful place, better go early morning or late afternoon as midday can be very hot. There's no shelter anywhere. It is a hilly treeless landscape next to the ocean. The All-in House and the lighthouse as well as the rocky ocean are making a very nice photographs. The only thing that dim my enthusiasm a bit is there seems to be no public transport plying this route, unless you rent a taxi to and fro. My friend and I end up walking all the way to the start of the Seopjikoji route (~1.5km) before we can hail a taxi to go to the next destination. As if to make up for the long walk, view along the route is superb.

The hype of the drama ‘All in’ being the filming location of this place did nothing to enhance the experience. The supposed church in the drama is now turned into a dilapidated Hansen and gretel type of candy house with no care given. No fault with the scenery thou. Was there on a weekday but sees tour buses coming in non stop. Too crowded for our liking.
