From the Klook website I booked Arex express train tickets from the airport to Seoul station and also from the station to the airport at a cost of €11.60 for two people each way. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Very efficient and convenient service to reach the station in an economical way. It is also possible to buy tickets at the machines on site. Seating is allocated and luggage can be stored in the designated compartments. Very easy and intuitive to take this train, based on the number of carriages and seats allocated.

Easy to get to in the airport. Buy tickets near the entrance. Comfortable ride to Seoul Station, with free WiFi. If you plan to use the subway on your trip, buy a T-Money card from the friendly conductor who walks through the train. Have your mobile phone and credit card handy; they will walk you through the online purchase then hand you a card with something like 4,000 Won credit; enough for 2.x subway trips. Caveat: though the Seoul subway system is very nice, it's a bit of work to navigate with heavy luggage so I wouldn't recommend it on arrival or departure. There's often a long walk between connections, multiple escalators (may or may not have an elevator); and sometimes only stairs to be found.

This is an efficient, stress free and decent value way from Incheon Airport to Seoul train station. The carriage is clean and comfortable. There are baggage storage areas on the train, but not kits so it o pop it’s to Baird as early as possible.

A Rex is a weird system. Most people get up extra early to reach their flight. Here, however, there are only precisely timed connections. If you are unlucky you miss the current train because the tickets are already sold out, and not because you are late. This experience saddens the travel experience!

The signage at the Seoul Train Station are HORRIBLE! Plus, you won't find any tourist information counter, and no staff who speak basic English. Mention 'Airport's even 'Incheon'to them, they still look super blur. It took me 30 mins to reach from Line 1 subway to Express Train Track (I had 2 big luggages). I missed the train and I had to pay 3300 won fine. The fine is not much but the whole experience could be seamless had they have directions / signboard / instructions clearly written when you purchased have tickets online. Simply Stupid!

fastest train to get to the airport or to the city. it is free if you buy seoul pass (but only for 1 trip). the last stop is Seoul Station, which is central station where you can ride a bus or take a metro train. is so easy to go to anywhere in Seoul

Whilst I don't don't the speed and efficiency. There is a lack of customer service and very little support for English speakers. It is not very transparent when you pay one fee to use the service and pay an extra ₩500 to exit. Why can't they be just 1 fee to keep it simple. Or use a card or T-money to tap in and out. I've used both Arex services and it could really do with keeping it simple. It's actually fascinating how a modern rail/metro service could actually become so awkward. If an Arex employee is reading this, please take this as feedback.

We used to take the airport limousine bus to our hotels downtown but this time decided to take AREX. It is comfortable & convenient & I believe also cheaper than limousine bus. The AREX journey takes about an hour but safer to give 2 hours as lots of time needed to walk from hotel to train station, long walks within train station itself & in Incheon Airport itself, lots of walking to the terminal

Since we stayed near Hongik University Station, we could only take the Normal train instead of the Express option which would have cost double. Taxis and airport transfers were out since these two options cost multiple times what the AREX does.

The trip took about 1hour 10min each way (including walking to our hotel L7 Hongdae Hotel).

Not much room for luggage so I would imagine handling luggage would be trickier during peak periods when the carriages are a lot more crowded. Even then, I would still tough it out given the high costs of airport transfer and taxis.

This train service is excellent. Very frequent, and good value for money. Please note, though, that there is not much room for large suitcases if the train is crowded (which can happen near to Seoul, especially in the rush hour).

started out as an express train to the airport but has morphed into a vital commuter rail line as the Yeongjong Island area continues to rapidly develop into its own satellite city distinct from both Incheon and Seoul. takes 50 minutes or so to get to Seoul station and there are lots of transfer points. There are number of tourist sites along the way such as the botantical garden, Hondae student district, Sinchoen student district, digitimal media city etc..

AREX is the best way to get to ICN airport - if you stay nearby one of the stations where the train stops. If one stays in Gangnam this train is of limited use, when staying near Seoul station then it is definitely the best way to travel. The train is surprisingly cheap for the distance travelled, fast, clean, comfortable. Very easy to get a ticket and board. Extremely convenient, highly recommended.

This train runs every 40 minutes from the airport to center city, and take about 50 minutes. You can buy tickets with a US credit card. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had a 13-hour layover on our way from Thailand to the States, so wanted to visit Korean friends living in Seoul. The AREX terminal in Seoul is a bit aside of the main part of Seoul Station, which we didn't realize right away. We were meeting our friends in the main part of Seoul Station, and fortunately figured that out after a few minutes.
