Good for a few photos

Songwoldong Fairy Tale Village is a few blocks of streets decorated with murals depicting some popular fairy tale characters with a good portion of them violating copyrights. With cars parked along the streets, a good portion of the murals are blocked. There are a handful of okay photo spots but the entire area just looks tacky.

This place is near the Incheon airport, and most tour group will swing by. Good for photography but nothing much. It's also very close to Chinatown. Half an hour is sufficient.

Beatiful houses and landscape for photos
Jul 2019
A very romantic place to enjoy characters of different houses. Need to spend at least 2-3 hours to thoroughly enjoy. The up and down hill of the village reminds me of San Francisco. What a joyful walk by evening!

Songwol Dong Fairy Village n Incheon Chinatown
Oct 2019 • Friends
Seoul Incheon Chinatown is a very interesting place to visit cos it's more than 100 years old. It's very authentic Chinatown with lots of food, culture and wall murals you can experience. And it's neighborhood attraction Songwol Dong Fairy Village is an enchanting place to revive your childhood times. It's fun for little ones and adults. It's an never ending stories place when you wander in this village of colors. Don't miss it cos it's near to Incheon metro station.

There're lots of beautiful, funny, colourful and cute places for taking photos. With this place, it makes you feel happy. Have funny time even though we just go for sightseeing.

is it worth the climb?
Jun 2019 • Family
one word: "eh"

honestly it isn't much. the only highlight i can rmb is there's an one piece cafe, with the ground floor filled with merchs and the top floor is the cafe. there are picturesque areas, but i not sure whether it's worth the hike to be honest

You will see colourful depiction of fairy tale characters on walls of houses and stairs
Dec 2018 • Family
We spent walked from Jayu Park to this area on a Thursday afternoon. You will see colourful depiction of fairy tale characters on walls of houses and stairs, making it bright and cheery.

As it was winter and the afternoon sun melted the snow forming ice on the pavement, it was a little precarious walking downhill to this little village.

i love it

it was so beautiful!!!! I have been there several times, and every time I go, there must be a new mural, so it keeps changing. so worth visit, not so many tourists go there, so you can take pictures easily without any interruption.

Back to your childhood days!
Jul 2018 • Family
It's really nice. The murals are interesting and colorful. As compared to Naksan Mural Village, this is more interesting. There are coffee shops and booths for you to play games. It transports you back to childhood days where you get to play and eat stuff. It's like a fun fair altogether!
