Although it's a Maglev train, it's relatively slow. Covers the long term car park, office buildings area, and Paradise City hotel. After that the last stop is near local live seafood restaurants and the Nest hotel. Although it says it's only 150m, the walk to Nest hotel is a good deal more than that and not on smooth ground. If you are going there, it might be easier to take the hotel's shuttle bus.

This is a hi-technology ride on Yeongjong-do Island. It's free and good to visit places from Incheon Airport.
- As of 2019, there are several station from Incheon Airport to the beach at the southwestern end. The future plan is to circulate the island.
- The train is short and passengers aren't that many.
- Good connnectivity from AREX or Airport free shuttle bus.
- Stations are near the shopping complex, hotels, beaches, etc.

Super clean and currently still free (although the paygates will be switched on one day!) This is a great way to travel to Yongyu to access the beach or cluster of local hotels there. If you're expecting a Shanghai Pudong Maglev experience, be prepared for disappointment with a top speed of around 70-80km/hr! Nevertheless, still a pleasant way to travel. Beware operation times as it doesn't run 24hrs - the previous reviewer's photo of the schedule is still current at time of posting.

I stayed at the Airport Nest Hotel and the Best Western Premier Airport Hotel and found the Airport Maglev train was a very convenient way to get to and from the Incheon International Airport as well as the AREX train station at the Incheon Airport. The Incheon Airport stop of the Maglev train is just a "floor" above the AREX train station, so very convenient to get into Seoul from here. It is also right outside the Terminal 1, so just a short walk to or from the gates.
The train is free, runs every 15 min, and makes a few stops on the way to the Nest Hotel. I think it runs from ~7:30am - ~8pm or 8:15pm, so outside of those times I needed to catch a taxi.

Can't really see the point in this, seems like a lot of money to make something that goes to just deserted stops a car park and a and a casino. It's free, so maybe it's good to tick off "ride maglev train" if it's on your bucket list.
Um, it's also yellow.

Unless you're staying in a hotel on the island which houses Incheon airport, the maglev won't really take you anywhere worthwhile. It leaves the airport and goes AWAY from Incheon/Seoul... just to the other end of the island. According to the promotional video it will soon reach every corner of Korea. We'll see about that.
It IS an interesting technical accomplishment and a quiet place to while away a few minutes if you are killing time at the airport. Just go to the last platform and hop back on the train on the opposite side. It's free, too.
Check the photo I uploaded here for the current schedule.

This train is a free service. It runs every 15 minutes in both directions.
We stayed at the Nest Hotel and found it a good alternative to the hotel bus which runs every 45 minutes. The Yongyu station is the closest station and is only a 3-4 minute walk to the hotel.
The airport station is located on the second floor directly above the subway train station.

An excellent transport from our hotel to the airport in 15 mins - will be invaluable when Incheon International City comes into being.

All very new and clean, and it runs much more frequently than the shuttle buses to some of the airport hotels. Always worth checking if you can use this instead of the bus. We would have had a logn wait for a bus, but the maglev came within a few minutes (though they generally run every 15 minutes).
