About
FLYING is an extreme non-verbal comic performance which is a story of Hwarang(Korean Knight) and Dokkebi(Korean goblin) come to the present from the past. They meet highschool cheerleading team and take part in contest. FLYING is mixed with gymnastics, rhythm gymnastics, cheer leading, martial arts and B-boying. It’s a fantasy performance you have never seen before.

A MUST for all those who visit Gyeongju Island. I was very much impressed by the show! Language is not a hindrance at all. People from all age groups would certainly enjoy it. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the show cause it was really amusing. ;D

This was a nonverbal comedy/acrobatic performance in Gyeongju. It has its own special building behind the Gyeongju tower at the Expo Cultural Center. It's at 2:30 most days and I don't think they hardly ever sell out. I was worried about getting tickets but it was quite empty.
There were parts that were hilarious-it's a lot of slapstick humor. And I was very impressed with all the tumbling/dancing/gymnastics etc. I thought the story line was amusing also. We really enjoyed seeing it and thought it was well worth it. Its about 1.5 hrs. I also picked up a 30% off coupon at the information desks around town.

it has acrobatic, gymnastics, Tae-Kwon-Do and comic touch with a story of Do-Kae-Bi.Very active and funny performance. You may have a chance leaded upon the stage if you seated at the front line. For me, it was very fun with them on stage.

If you've ever wanted to see a group of cheerleaders (some in drag) take turns beating up a time travelling goblin whilst performing rhythmic gymnastics and falling in love, it's your lucky day.

This was advertised to me as a 'cultural show', but I really don't think that description is appropriate.... it's pure slapstick comedy targeted to kids. The audience on the day I went consisted of me, my boyfriend, and 30 schoolchildren which should give you an idea of the demographic here. If you're expecting history or culture I think you'll be disappointed but if you go expecting ridiculousness as I did, you might enjoy. If you're foreign, prepared to be roped into some audience participation.

Be aware, though, they don't perform year-round like all the english literature about this show implies. They seem to start their season around April or May, and perform every day until late in the year. But I think the start date changes every year - I tried to go on 30 Apr this year and they told me it was closed... they don't speak much english so it's hard to confirm when it starts. I went back on 2 May and indeed there was a show on. They have a Facebook page which I think is the best place to get up to date info.
