Nothing much special, but there is a little small museum inside it. Worth for a walk if you have a lot of time before heading to Anapji Pond.

This is a pretty good for if you are interested in the history of Korea-there are many of these tombs in the area and this is one of the few that has been excavated so it is good to be able to get inside and actually have a look.

It was quite an effort to go there and luckily we found the place. Parking was not a problem. Small entrance fee to be paid at the ticket booth. It is nice and quite but I personally have expected a bit more to see and learn. On the other Hand we where quite busy to stop our two Kids from... More

This is probably the tomb of a king of Shills. It is representative of wooden chamber tombs with stone mounds of the Shilla Period. It is believed to date from the 5th or 6 the century. Some 11,500 artifacts were retrieved when the tomb was excavated. They include a gold crown and a pair of birch bark saddle flaps which... More

Beautiful and serene. The area around the tombs is serene and tranquil. The excavated mound is very interesting as you can see the buried items as they were discovered, not all shined up and pretty.

We liked the park where this tomb is located. It was fairly quiet and peaceful. We liked the music. We would surely be unhappy if the place had more tourists. It took only one loud family (kids yelling and mom talking on the phone) to break the solemnity of the place. And the visit to the tomb didn't do much... More

This is a pleasant place to get out and walk around and provides some great backgrounds for pics. If you are into Korean history, this is a must-do for it's significance regarding past rulers.

We didn't know anything about the way that these ancient tombs covered the landscape until we arrived in Gyeongju. Going inside one that was converted into a museum was insightful. I found them to be a beautiful part of what makes Gyeongju unique.
