You can explore the park and the Hanbat Arboretum. Also you can take a stroll going to the Expo Bridge.
Beautiful during autumn.
[Nearest Subway]
Government Complex-Daejeon Station (Daejeon Subway Line 1), Exit 3.

We attended an evening performance of traditional Korean music, dance and song here and were captivated both by the building and the performance.
The building itself is adjacent to the Art Museum and the Hanbat Arboretum, within easy walking distance of the Government Complex Metro Station, although the venue has ample parking.
Approached via a series of wide steps, the glass front is topped with an interpretation of a traditional Korean roof (reminiscent of those we have seen at the Imperial Palace in Seoul). Inside it is all pale, pale grey concrete, glass and light wood, with a high, high reception hall with long narrow windows cut into the concrete walls. Very modern and yet also very classical and quite stunning.
Inside the auditorium there are three tiers, all with a good view of the vast stage. Seats are high backed and comfortable.
The stage is huge, clearly designed with big performances in mind. We watched an orchestra of traditional Korean instruments playing while a large group of dancers in Hanbok performed a flowing dance and they had plenty of room to spare.
If you get the chance to see a performance here, do take up the opportunity.

Very peaceful area! Great for picnic and biking activities. Ideal for families as well. Couple museums around and a theater

11 October, 2016.
The weather was nice, and I had walked from the Expo bridge, all
the way through the Hanbat Arboretum, to a set of stylish
buildings on the Western end, with a road separating the complex
from the Government Complex. There is a huge auditorium, which is
an impressive piece of architecture, and a set of buildings (one
of which at that time, hosted a calligraphy exhibition). the
grass area in front of the center has quite a few pieces of
sculptures: a stylised fish, a three-part sculpture of a man
coming out from a wall, cylinders inside each other and places
side-ways, a tree sculpture, and more. The parking
lot part has a stone slab-and grass path, with a washroom complex
somewhere in the centre. The large grassy area also served as a
playground for many school children, that day.
