There were a few nice parts in the aquarium but many of the enclosures were far too small for the animals. At first I enjoyed seeing animals like the seals and otters but the farther I went through the aquarium the more concerned I grew... Some of the large fish and reptiles were kept in small tanks, and I was shocked to find there were bears, hyenas, lions, and other big cats in tiny cages. They were in poor condition and looked so restless and miserable. They were pacing and their fur looked like it came out in patches from stress. There were monkeys outside who looked like they had some sort of injury as well. It was very depressing and I left feeling sad rather than excited by what I had seen there. Would not recommend visiting here. Wish there was some way to help the animals get to a better situation.

I was surprised when my daughter, 9 y.o., found that place quite exciting and interesting. She had an amazing time, catching fish, feeding animals and so on.
It's the best place to visit when it's rainy.

It is a nice diversion for an afternoon, as it was for us. Arriving by bus we found it easily and even enjoyed the beautiful mountains and temples nearby.
The aquarium itself is expensive for how small and simple it is but again, it was pleasant. All the basic fish, and even some zoo animals, were there: electric eels, sting rays, piranhas, lions, skunks, snakes, and so on, separated by regions of the world. If you are ok with things being a bit claustrophobic, dirty, and old for you, and the animals, then you will enjoy yourself.
