Hallam Park is one of the best botanical gardens we’ve visited. The paths are clearly posted and friendly to foreign visitors that don’t read Korean. We loved it. The restaurant at the entrance is only a good choice if you like Korean food. The barbecue...More

Allow for at least 2.5 to 3 hours to walk around. There are a number if different areas, my favourite being the bonsai trees. The park is very well kept and very tranquil. There are a couple of places that sell snacks and one restaurant...More

You should be geared for a long walk inside the park. The ticket is a bit pricey (11,000 won per adult) with nothing much to see. There are plenty of palm trees and different types of pine trees as well but not really very rare...More

Good for an afternoon stroll. Nice collection of flowers, cacti and bonsai trees. Impressive cages and not too crowded (visited in September) Enjoyed the peace and green scenery. Did not like wild birds in the garden, as I do not support animals in captivity.

Nice stroll around the garden, the lava tunnels are cool and most waterlilies in bloom. Nice, but not spectacular. Not an absolute must.

We saw birds, ostrich, peacocks and various bonsai trees. You need at least 2 to 3 hrs to enjoy the place. There is also a cave with paved walkways.

If you can't make it to Manjanggul caves, there are caves here too. There is a lot of English signage for the trees, which is great. There is a cafe and restaurant on site. I really enjoyed the afternoon out, lots of lovely different areas...More

Hallim is a beautiful place where you could see a little bit of everything (cave, flowers, village etc). Each sector is small, but it does deserve a visit while in Jeju.

The park is a very big park to cover specially in a hot summer day . Has many different sections and it is easy to get lost without a map . It is a must see place

$11-12 sounds about right. I agree that you should spend at least 2-3 hours.
