Due to lack of time, I decided to take a blue/ yellow tour bus (5000KRW for 4 destinations). For those, I prefer the 2nd one which I can enjoy peanut ice cream. The weather was so much hot, which made me tired quite fast. If you wanna rent scooters or cars, international driving licenses are required. Peanut ice cream was... More

An absolutely beautiful island that will take you at least half to a full day to properly explore. Rent a bike or a moped and go around the island, stopping for maybe a burger and the location's signature peanut ice cream. With idyllic beaches and spectacular views it is an unforgettable must-visit destination during Jeju.

The best way to do U-Do Island is by car or scooter. Rent a car prior to boarding the ferry and take it across OR walk on to the ferry and rent a scooter on the island. Fantastic sights and places to eat.

Small island - the main road that goes around the island is around 13,8 km. A good way to explore is to rent a vehicle - electric scooter, electric motor cycle, electric bike, or bike - and go as you like. But all the electric is required international driving license.

Loved this island off Jeju Island! If you're staying in the Jungmun area, this requires about an hour taxi or car ride to the port where you catch a ferry (15 minute ride) the island. Best to buy a return ticket at the ticket office (the taxi driver helped us to do this, lucky for us as you need to... More

Udo was formed by an volcanic eruption in the 12th century. We took the ferry boat then signed up for a on/off bus tour and it was worthwhile. The bus stopped at 6 different locations to include three beaches (black sand, gold sand and white sand), near the large volcanic mountain that is the hump that makes up Udo (you... More

We hired bicycles at a shop adjacent the pier and cycled around the whole island. Along country roods, there were many scenic spots, mostly adjacent to the sea, where we could take pictures. Besides, there were many cafes and kiosks where we could dine and rest. Cycling around the island in a relaxing pace took about 3 to 4 hours.... More

A cheap half-day activity. Udo Island was the perfect little get-away. We took a nice little ferry ride over to the island and rented peddle bikes to ride around. (You must have an international driver's license, however they took just our American driver's license.. depends on who you talk to) Took us about 3 hours to loop the whole thing... More

Stunning view, especially the beaches. I've chosen to walk around Udo to enjoy every inch of this nice little island. Took me about 5.5 hours (with photo taking) to walk around the island by foot.
