If you want to tour the islands of Jeju Island, I would recommend visiting Udo Island.
To visit Udo Island, you need to take a boat for about 20 minutes. Udo Island was named Udo Island because its shape resembles a cow lying down or sticking its head out. You can rent electric cars for transportation on Udo Island, which is perfect if you can't bring your car to the island. Thanks to electric vehicles, it is convenient to sightsee and take pictures in scenic places.
However, there are limited times for boating in Udo Island each day, so it is recommended to check the time and weather carefully before visiting.

If you have rented the global taxi, my suggestion is to have the taxi with you while on the island. We have a 5 years old and thank god we have the taxi with us. Indeed extra fees are required (30k for the taxi driver and another 50-60k for having the taxi to be on the boat). The island is not walkable but there is a shuttle bus. Having a 5 years old with us I don’t think the shuttle bus is a good option. Indeed there is a small scooter for rent but I have some doubt over the safety especially when the island is crowded. It’s a great small hike up the light tower where there is a great view towards the Jeju main island. The coast line is beautiful and some decent beach around the island. When have time, it is nice to grab a nice coffee at the local coffee shop. It was a great stay for us on the island and we stayed for 4 hours.

A must-see attraction while in Jeju. Upon arriving on the island from the ferry, there are many options, from manual bikes to electric ones to cars. Price and usage time are also variables. I would recommend spending a day there and enjoying the sights, sounds, food, and breeze of the island. Peanut ice-cream from Jimmy's Natural Ice Cream is a must. Theirs is really the best.

Highly recommended if you have extra time in Jeju. We decided to come to Udo Island and we were very lucky that it turned out sunny. We parked at Seongsan Port then took the ferry in. The counter staff manning the ferry ticket sales are very accustomed to (non-Korean speaking) tourists and calculated everything for us (return ferry tickets, entrance fees to Udo etc). When we got there, we were told our international driving license (class 3 cars only) didn't allow us to rent scooters. We decided to take the shuttle bus around the island as we had a child under 10 with us. Seobinbaeksa Beach was the first stop and was beautiful. Just take note that the 'sand' on the beach is more like rounded tiny pebbles, not fine sand which most people would associate with beaches. Walking bare-footed on this particular beach is slightly uncomfortable. We also stopped at Geommeolle Beach and then walked up to the Udo lighthouse. If you are taking the shuttle, u could get off at the Geommeolle Beach and walk backwards (pls see pics) to find the trail. However, it is at least 20 mins of steep incline uphill hiking (on stairs), so I would not recommend for people with serious knee issues.

An island off jeju island. Udo means cow in korean, supposedly the island looks like a lying cow. You can cycle round the island, but we took the shuttle bus and visited the beach and took the speedboat

Beautiful coastal view and rock features. The island was packed with local travellers on a weekday. Being a popular tourist destination, the island is slightly a little too commercialised (many restaurants) and there are pollutants and rubbish along the coastline. Overall not a tranquil and secluded destination, but still a good place to enjoy the ocean.
To get there - Bus 111 or 112 from Jeju Intercity Bus Terminus, taking about 1.5 hours to arrive Seongsan. Then walk through a parking lot to reach the ticketing office and pier. Check the ferry schedule before on board. Upon arrival, it is possible to walk along the coastline around the entire island taking about 4 to 5 hours (but there are no demarcated walking trails so beware of vehicles).

Best nature, fresh air and photographic views. Easy to go there, and local travel expenses are so low (if you use public transportation like bus and ship). You should rent a bike and explore freely the whole island.

If sightseeing is your thing, then the best place to go Udo. What’s more, you would like to enjoy various experiences, I can’t recommend it enough. I rode a bike in Udo, which was really fantastic. While riding a bike on Udo, I enjoyed the island’s fantastic views. The vast ocean gave me a refreshing feeling, and the cool sea breeze made it fantastic. However, you need a driver's license to ride a bike on Udo. Without one, you can only ride as a passenger. Udo is small enough to circle in about an hour by bike. If you visit Udo, I highly recommend it.

We had a fine time on Udo Island, where we rented one of the funny little electric cars and were able to see most of the island. It's better to arrive earlier in the day then we did, so you can spend time enjoying that Charming Island. Another highlight was feeding the seagulls with chips you can buy for $2 on the ferry.

We get here via bus then ferry. Its a long journey but worth it.

When we landed in the island you cam catch a coastal bus tovtravel around. The bus comes quite frequently.

At places there are gift shops, cafes and restaurants. Prices are ok.

The unfortunate thing is that along the coast / beach there is quite a bit of rubbish including pladtic bottles, polystrene. Pls help to keep the beach clean.
