We booked a Day Pass at 3000 won for 810 bus which circles popular landmarks in the east. Firstly, we took bus 111 from Jeju Bus Terminal to Daecheon Transit Centre stop. It is just a normal bus stop and we crossed the road to the opposite bus stop where there is a small Transit Centre Information Office. We booked the Day Pass here and the bus stop on the same side as the information office serves 810-2 which goes anti-clockwise. So we crossed to the opposite bus stop to wait for 810-1. The frequency of the buses is every 30 mins. There is a guide on the bus who guides us in our choices of where to visit. Dongbaekdongsan is our fourth stop.
Dongbaekdongsan wetland, located in a Gotjawal forest, shows excellence in preservation of the natural condition of grassland and natural wetland etc. It protects wild life and is the habitat of the national and world's important species such as the Peregrine Falcon and the mandarin ducks etc.
The groundwater of Dongbaekdongsan wetland is used as one of the sources of groundwater that supports many in the Jeju Island.
Starting from Dongbaekdongsan Wetland Center, the tour covers about 5.1km and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We saw many Camellia trees.
