This is a great trail along the coast, with steep uphill and downhill stretches, with fantastic views of the ocean and towards the end of the Haeundae area! One-way trip takes between 1.5 and 2 hours!

The Igidae Park area offers a scenic path originating near Oryukdo along the coast that is about 5 kilometers of up and down hike but the scenery is well worth the effort. For those that want to extend the hike by a few hundred kilometers, the trail extends all the way up to Gangwon province.

This path goes along the ocean and you should be fit! I do not recall how many stairs one has to go up and down constantly. But is is all worth it!

A unique experiences. I never thought i would go trekking (hiking?) on another country when i never even go at my country lol. Still it's one of the most memorable activity we did in Busan. We decided to start our journey from Oryukdo Skywalk as i read it's easier. It took us 3 hours to finally arrive at the Igidae entrance (we spent around 30 minutes in between to rest or sit). I'm really proud since i'm not the kind who exercise, so even though it's REALLY tiring, at least we complete it. What made it tiring was actually the stairs. Thank goodness there's more stairs down then up if you start from Oryukdo. Also some path when we go the coastal route is closed so people need to detour it seems. Don't do it like we do people, we saw the locals who start from Igidae came from the closed path and they point us towards it so we went that way lol. Some stairs are broken, so if you want a safer path you should find the other path. Don't forget to bring water and some snacks if you get hungry. Wear comfortable shoes. Maybe wear hiking clothes? I didn't even wear my jacket in November as it's really hot.
