Loved this street, narrow and crowded, full of food vendors line the middle with clothing stores, new and second-hand clothing, in the adjacent buildings. The food looks amazing, first you need to observe what is going on, what others order for an idea on quantity, then choose one of the many stalls which seem to be selling much the same. I randomly selected the stall with my birth year.

Between the four of us we shared a serve of daboki, pajon and mandu, all was cooked right in front of us and served directly onto plastic plates. We were not full, just a starter for the rest of the afternoon of delicious Korean street food. Gwangbokdong Food Street was a great local experience, which I highly recommend to others.

This is a narrow road fronted by two rows of shops. Food stalls take up the middle of the road leaving two narrow aisles for pedestrians. Still this place is teeming with life. Worth about two hours for us.

There are a handful of food stands that you stand at and eat dumplings, pajeon and other fried items. They are cheap and pretty tasty, but this is not somewhere worth hunting for especially.

Ok, I didn't try any food as I was just too full from my lunch. But it smells great! The locals practically swarm there and every stall I walked passed, there are people there queuing. Try the street food if you're there!

We weren't planning to get dinner here but it ended up that way! Pick a place where you like the look of the food and enjoy it. In our case she gave us what she thought we needed and we enjoyed it!

The food stalls are fun. This is what the Seoul market looked like more than 10 years ago. I took a walk around the nearby international market as it was closed. From around noon, the narrow alley leading from Nampo-dong was packed with food stalls. It is a compact image of the night markets of Daegu, Taipei, and Hanoi at 1/100 scale. It's perfect for walking around eating and checking out suspicious clothing. Conveniently located right next to the subway and close to Busan Tower and Lotte Mall.
