Hello, Welcome to Busan
I was born in Busan and have lived here for more than 40 years. I have served many kinds of home made Korean foods to my foreign friends and have got good evaluation.i am also running home cooking class to travellers from all over the world in English and Chinese.
As you may know, Korean foods are famous with home cooking. I think it is easy to learn Korean cookings if you are interested in Cooking.

Originally our plan was to spend our whole Korean vacation in Seoul. It was indeed a good decision to add a side trip to Busan and Pohang. The train ride itself from Seoul to Busan, and Pohang to Seoul was a nice and relaxing experience. We had a short but fun holiday to these 2 seaside Korean cities because of our very wonderful and experienced guide, "Busan Oppa". We were able to see Busan and Pohang in 2 days, and our tour was managed efficiently, our pace was good, we were not hurrying. The sites, the taste of the food, the comfort of our vehicle, the smooth driving of our driver, the fun time we had with our tour guide made our vacation awesome and memorable.

This was a great tour with a great guide! Everyone can enjoy this tour from seafood lovers to those that aren’t as familiar (like myself). We hand picked all of the food from the market and had a very fresh meal. Busan Oppa is also a great guide! Would recommend to everyone visiting Busan

The tour guide was great! He showed us around the village after pottery making, and the meal we had was also amazing. Highly recommend!

I'm sorry that I couldn't show you more Onggi Village due to the delayed schedule for unexpected reasons. If you visit Busan again next time, we will prepare you to experience more things.

The village is located in Seogu district and built on inclined land. Must take taxi or town bus there. Do not walk from subway or bus station to Gamcheon village as it will be very strenuous. Most of the houses look the same and it’s not worthy to spend hours at this place. A bit over-rated but was a good work out walking through the village.

I don't know who you are and what you are. I would like to ask you to delete the irresponsible review you left without participating in my experience tour. I don't want to see my and my team's efforts disparaged by an irresponsible and outrageous review by indiscreet person. Remove ridiculous review as soon as possible.

It was really an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Mr. Jang, was the absolute best as well! Really friendly, accommodating, and just overall wonderful personality. It was tiring at times because of the heat and hills/steps but it was entirely worth it and Mr. Jang was encouraging the entire way through. Gamcheon Culture Village was truly a sight to behold. I loved all the vibrant colors and beautiful artwork from local artists. I really wished to go on the cable cars at Songdo beach but unfortunately did not have the time. It was completely fine with me though because we were able to make our own lanterns at Gamcheon Culture Village instead(for free!), which they will release at the lantern festival later in the year! Jagalchi fish market was really interesting to see as well! Although I did not participate in the market as a buyer it definitely was a great experience to watch! To be honest, I did not expect to have any pictures taken of me but I’m truly thankful that we did! I will have these pictures as memories for a long time! Overall, I will definitely be coming back to Busan and recommending this tour to my friends and family! 💚

Thank you for participating in my walking tour. I hope my walking trip helped you understand the past and present of Busan. I am sorry for some inconveniences that occurred during the trip. For a safe and comfortable trip for the participants, I always carry medicine, mosquito repellent, ointment, and bandage, but I didn't tell you in advance. Gamcheon Culture Village holds various events and festivals every fall. I hope to see you again in Busan this fall.

Thank you for taking part in my experience activities.Unfortunately, the price of scallops has skyrocketed and I recommended other seafood.Due to the recent strengthened radiation inspection of imported seafood, the supply of some imported seafood is not smooth. But I was happy that you enjoyed the shrimp sashimi that I recommended. In fall, shrimp is in season, and if you eat live shrimp, you can enjoy real taste of shrimp. Wow! I don't know where to start! Dorawayo (Paul) was basically the ultimate human being. I really mean ULTIMATE! Firstly on his seafood programme, it was amazing and definitely an eye-opener! We had awesome raw seafood which are a delicacy in South Korea! We met outside of a convenient subway station and he gave a professional tour of the area he lives at. Walked down a very beautiful beach in front of the diamond bridge before going to the wholesalers to purchase our seafood. The seafood was REALLY FRESH and I urge future guests to be adventurous (you will know what I mean). Apart from his experience, he was also an absolute friend. This being my first time to Korea (and solo btw), he brought me to places where only locals will go to and I tried all sorts of Korean food out of the tour!! Really awesome stuff! He also helped me out with my itinerary and gave sound advice on everything and anything. For this, I am immensely grateful. I even stayed at his place for a night as I couldn't get decent accoms last minute. If you are looking for a complete guy in Busan, Dorawayo is the one to go to! I highly recommend going on his tours especially his seafood programme and cooking classes as he is an excellent cook. He gives 200% in what he does and you will feel that it was money well spent. If you have the opportunity, stay with him and chat to discover the best of Busan! Many thanks Dorawayo! I will forever be grateful! My trip wouldn't have been the same without you pal!

Amazing trip, Mr. Chang is a really nice and knowledgeable guide. Sharing not only his culinary experience but his close observation on modern Korea society. We enjoyed the night, I highly recommend the trip and definitely will join the trip again.

This tour was so much fun and full of pleasant surprises. First, we had great directions so it was easy to meet up Suyang-then we walked to the market and started exploring the surrounding areas. Suyang is very knowledgeable and gave us great background on the history of the space as well as South Korea and Busan. We went shopping for fresh seafood and got to pick what we liked along with a few alcoholic beverages to taste. Dinner was impressive! The dishes were served one by one, hot, fresh and delicious and one of the best meals we’ve had so far. Suyang is a very talented cook and let us enjoy the meals at our own pace. It was full of fun and laughter and great food! Incidentally we took the bus to travel to the kitchen where we had our dinner so it was nice to get a a glimpse of daily life of Busan citizens. We tried interesting things like sea squirt and spoonworm and liked the experience.
My friend and I had an awesome time, had great food, great laughs and a really good time with Suyang -I highly recommend!

Such a unique experience. We saw the market and Suyang showed us some great viewing spots in the area. We then went back to his kitchen where he prepared the food. The food was EXCELLENT. We even tried spoonworm and sea squirt for something new. It was a great way to spend our first night in Busan.

I have told you a lot of historical stories related to various foods and ingredients so that you can easily understand the history of Korea and Busan.
Due to Busan's geographical advantage, you can buy various seafood fresh and cheap.I served you food using not only Korean sauces but also sauces from various countries.I was very happy that you finished all the foods I provided.

Hi i would like to know the complete itinerary of the $700 Pohang Hometown chachacha tour package that departs from Busan. Will you pick us up at our hotel? Around what time does this tour usually finish? what kind of vehicle will be used for a group of 4? Does it include drop off at the Pohang Station (KTX) after the tour? Please advise. Thank you.
