About
I worked for the international airlines, hotels and studied hotel management in Montreux, Switzerland. Also, I did my internship in Greece. This worldwide background made me a kind of international person who likes to exchange the cultures. 'Bapsang' means Korean traditional dining table in Korean. While you have Korean food on the table after the cooking, you will not only taste the delicious Korean cousin, but also will experience Korean culture.

When you do a cooking class, you hope for good food, gracious hosts, and to learn about local culture. Bapsang Cooking class was absolutely perfect on all three!

Good English, able to accommodate my dietary needs on short notice (we are gluten free and booked the day before). Minkyung and Minsun were patient, funny, and kind. The location is a little hard to find, but they shared a picture of the Google maps with a pin which made it much easier.

We made Bibimbap, Medical Chili paste, potato pancakes, and seaweed soup. Then we finished with rice snacks, dried fruit, and tea. Everything was delicious and Min had bought the ingredients fresh from the market in the morning.

Highly recommend this cooking class because it is more private, personable, and intimate. A must do when in Busan!

This cooking class was an amazing experience! The food we made was delicious and the setup was great (with a great view). Min was so kind and welcoming, and her English was incredible. One of my favorite memories of my time in Korea!

Min was so warm, knowledgeable, and personable, and a great teacher. Her English is also excellent. We got to wear special historical palace aprons, learn the traditional way of making soy sauce, and compare different soy sauces. Every detail was perfect. She even showed us exactly how to hold the utensils, the dishes, and the special tea cups. I I love to cook and I learned so much from her, like exactly the color the item should achieve or when to flip the pancake. Plus we had some wonderful conversations about her travels, Korean A/C, adoption, cats. etc. The morning we spent in her home was one of the highlights of our entire trip!

Min was as absolute pleasure. She is not only an excellent cook, but was very knowledgeable about Korean cooking, cuisine, and table traditions. The class was well organized and informative, and the food turned out delicious. I can’t wait to try these recipes back home.
Min made us feel welcome and was very kind and engaging throughout our time together. I highly recommend this class!

Excellent. We did not just do the cooking but Min told us plenty of stories about the history of Korea how certain other dishes are being made and we generally had a wonderful time.
Min was a wonderful host, she does a lot of fermentation on her own and therefore we had the pleasure of tasting plenty of different kinds of things, in addition to our three course menu

My wife and I were treated in a very special way :) I highly recommend anybody who enjoys culture or food - to take part in this. We learned so much about everything - from tips on 'how to cook', Korean cuisine (sooooo many dishes - it was so fun and yum!), about Korean culture and history! The time spent with Min was really amazing. I do not want to even say "value for money", because it is SO much more. The day was specialized for our one year anniversary and Min baked us a Tteok cake too, with a candle in! :) We are so thankful to have had this great experience!

No words can describe how glorious this cooking class was. I had an amazing time I learned so much about both Korean food and it culture. I went solo and man was that the best choice I made. I got to learn how to make every dish and how to make them back in the US with some substitutions. Min was a wealth of knowledge with very impressive English. I am so glad I got to do this class. Min made me feel right at home. She was a true gem teaching me everything I wanted to know about how to make korean food. This one is definitely for the books.

Monday morning cooking lesson with Min. I had the luxury being the only student (sometimes it is good to travel off-season). The time with Min was excellent, this goes far beyond cooking, you learn a lot about the Korean culture and their people. Min has traveled herself a lot, so not only her English is excellent, but also exchanging about everything under the sun. I left not only with my head full of new recipes and information, but also with the feeling of saying goodbye to a friend.
And of course filled with happy food. 😊

Miss Min is a good teacher with excellent English. She teaches us not only Korean dishes but also Korean culture and food knowledge. The kitchen is clean and tidy. There are two dining places, one with sea view and one with traditional Korean settings. Good activity for cooking lovers!
