With the overcast weather the usually popular Gwangalli Beach area looked deserted. However, with so many good restaurants and bars in its vicinity (with many offering ocean views) it’s always a good spot to hang out.

We came here 2 years ago. It was still a nice place for a 2nd visit & we came again since we have time. It is not so crowded or touristy as Haeudae Beach. It has its usual dining, hotels, motels, etc around the beach. The bridge looks nice at night.

Gwangalli is probably one of my favorite places in Busan. It's a smaller place than the nearby Haeundae Beach and less crowded. (except during the firework festival) It's nice place to go for a walk, jog. The scenery at night is pretty nice; there are decent restaurants and

Came here in the summer of August!! It was hot, as it is summer time in Korea. You can rent a mat and umbrella for 5,000 and up. You can also buy chicken from here; some vendors would walk around carrying chicken and food. It's a nice beach to relax; it's less crowded compared

The beach comes alive in the evening with a lot of people playing on the beach. A live band was performing on the beach and it was a nice setting with the fully lit Gwangandaegyo bridge in the background. Some youngsters were setting off fireworks. We felt very safe here even
