- JitsiriBangkok, Thailand14,919 contributionscity view pointBefore coming up I played it until I gasped. The way up from the road below You will see a picture of a tower on the ground. Walk straight up. Unfortunately the escalator was not working. So I had to walk up. At the end, I got to go up the escalator and save my life. Because I was tired, I went up to rest and take pictures with the tower. But I didn't walk up to see the view from the tower because I'm tired and think there's not enough time. At the top is a garden area. The atmosphere is good and the weather is cool.Visited March 2024Traveled with friendsWritten March 26, 2024
- Brando62Saint Paul, Minnesota369 contributionsFantastic viewsWe were on a cruise and took a shuttle bus into town which dropped us off near the fish market. We strolled through the shops and alleys up toward the tower, took the steps and paths up to the base of the tower and purchased tickets. The tower itself offers fantastic views of Busan and surrounding areas. There were gamified activities to help keep younger visitors occupied but we focused on the views. The walk to and from the tower was just as entertaining.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 20, 2024
- LynsFrostee8 contributionsGreat views! This attraction is definitely one of the first places you need to go to when you arrive in Busan. If nothing else it helps you to get your bearings re how the city is laid out and what is worth going to see. The views are stunning and you can stay at the top for as long as you like once you're in. There is also a gift shop and a cafe available so you can grab a drink and have a nice sit down whilst staring at the view. Its not crazy cheap but it is worth doing and the area around the tower is nice too. They have escalators that you can use to get up to the tower or you can use the cable car. We went up in the cable car and down in the escalators which I enjoyed because they have fab neon signs in those covered escalator areas.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 26, 2024
- TobeySK98 contributionsBeautiful observation towerThe tower stands in the middle of a small hill park in the Nampo district of Busan. Is fairly easy to reach by bus and even free with the "Visit Busan Pass". I personally liked the trip to and up the tower.Visited May 2024Traveled soloWritten August 5, 2024
- OHKSOHyogo Prefecture, Japan111,536 contributionsThere are many high-rise buildings, which are surprisingly inconspicuous from a distanceVisiting Busan has become a staple of visiting Busan Tower. This time, I looked for it when entering Busan port by Guanbu ferry, and it gave me a surprisingly low-profile impression because there are many high-rise buildings in the surrounding area. When it is lit up at night, the impression is somewhat different, but if it is Busan Tower, it actually looked good to go up to Yongdusan Park and see it.Visited November 2024Traveled soloWritten January 1, 2025
- Joseph-Arthur-LucMontreal, Canada127 contributionsWorth a visit!Built in 1973 when the city was much less extensive than now, the Busan Tower is in a sense the vestige of a bygone era. The view to the original city center and the port is interesting but does not do justice to the metropolis of the 21st century. Some visitors will be annoyed by recent additions, no doubt to increase the number of visitors: Nautilus submarine decor elements, colourful drawings superimposed on the view in certain windows, flashy signage, etc. It should be noted that the tower is located on top of a hill beautifully landscaped as a park and very popular with the local population. On Sundays, there is a rolling fire of amateur dance and martial arts shows.Visited October 2024Traveled soloWritten January 7, 2025

There is no long lines unlike other tower in the world. The trip to the top is about 2 to 3 minutes and smooth ride. The top rounds view deck is small but not crowded. There is gift shop to buy souvenirs. The views is 360 degrees and awesome look of the whole city from the mountains to the coast and beaches. Upon descending the before the exit, there are photo opportunity like the four seas room and neon city lights room to enjoy taking pictures.

The cost of the tower entrance fee is 12000won for adult and free for children under 36 Months.
This tower does not provide a 360 degrees view. Hence it was disappointing for me. The deck only has 180 degrees view of the city.
Then you will be led to a screen with information on the landmark for the remaining half of the space.
You will then walk down a narrow flight of stairs to one level down for some interactive games.
IMO, The entrance fee to tower is not worth it. The space at the bottom of the tower is very inviting and nice to chill and free! With payable food options.

The Busan Tower - 부산타워 is an extension of the The Yongdusan Park - 부산타워 and it provides a really good view of most Busan's Skyline and the coastal line.
The place is also very relaxed and good to be visited any given day. Sunny or cold.
We recommend this place once more as a very good site to cover and a place that will provide you with very good view points to take outstanding and clear pictures over viewing Busan. Enjoy.

This is similar to the Seoul Tower and the prices not cheap, but not a communication tower, and used only for entertainment purposes. It is 390 feet tall and is at Yongdusan Park. It was built in 1973/ It does offer good views of Busan.

When I was in Busan, many Korean people suggested us to go to the tower because it's a must to do for tourists. Once we arrived there, we saw the magnificence of the tower and the beautiful skyline of Busan. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to reach the roof because under maintenance but we had the same a nice experience. If you like landscapes, it's the perfect place for you because on the way you can see traditional Korean gardens. Once on the top, that's it...

Located in Yongdusan Park, Busan Tower gives you views over the city and the sea. You take an elevator to the 5th (top) floor and then go down to the two lower floors with their colourful displays. We had fun with the various interactive computerised elements - putting your photo in a submarine, lying on a moon, the neon displays, the mirror room, a lit up city room and then hanging out on the top deck with the piano available for use. There is coffee available.

12000 won to get to the top..view is nice but not spectacular. Far too crowded and windows are dirty so you can’t see clearly. Not 360degree views- more like 180. Then you are led down to a series of small exhibitions. Not great- there are better views elsewhere in the city.

Our family had an unforgettable countdown party at Busan Tower. It is our first time spending the New Year in a foreign land.
There were many policemen controlling the crowds.
There were free heat pack, snacks and coffee at the count down.
This is so thoughtful of them.
The countdown ends with short fireworks and the crowds is not rowdy.
We had a fun time taking photos and enjoying live music. Truly a great night spent in Busan.

We enjoyed our night time visit to the Diamond/Busan Tower. We would have gone up but we arrived after the last call for entry. We did enjoy checking out the souvenir shop and the Yongdusan Park the tower is in.
Closest metro is Nampo station exit 1 and there's an escalator to take you up to the Yongdusan Park. We spent an hour walking around the tower to check out the park and probably would have enjoyed a day time visit to see the port area and landscape from the observatory of the tower.

Nice. Lovely views. Very child friendly. Lot's of interactive games. I went during the day as the tower is located in Yongdusan Park and I wanted to see this as well so I combined the two. I walked around the park first and then went up the tower. There is a self-service ticket machine so you need to pay with a card. Going up and down is quick. The observation deck is small but views were nice and it wasn't that busy. There are shops and eateries below once you have finished your visit.

Hi KevinJ2421,
Don't think it's far. I took a train from near the jagalchi market to busan tower. Took me less than 30mins.
