There are thick bamboo trees on both sides, and it is a great place to take pictures and relax, including a pond, a cypress forest, and a movie location. However, I think that the admission fee has increased from 5,000 won to a whopping 8,000 won (60% of the previous price), which is too expensive compared to the facilities. For 8,000 won, you can enter most decent indoor places. I recommend going somewhere else instead.

Ahopsan Forest was originally a private forest and maybe because of that, this bamboo forest is still very much preserved and holds one of the best bamboo view I've seen in Korea. Get yourself a photogenic picture at the stone gate, which was much featured in the k-drama "The King: Eternal Monarch'. (*Tips: Remember to bring yourself some mosquito repellent too!)

First bamboo forest and so worth the trip. They also have a spot where you can tell they are harvesting mushrooms! Fun for pictures and even purchased some bamboo cups when we left.

If you’re a big fan of K-dramas you will love to visit this place… The bamboo forest is beautiful, quiet and the environment is breathtaking. Our guide Jaekyoung was very nice to our family, kind and patient.

If you like k-drama and like climbing, gymnastics, you should come here. Like me lol. I was actually quite surprised by a forest of bamboo trees. It's very special and fresh.

If you are in Busan do visit this hidden gem where the recent Lee Minho's drama The King was shot, This is a great place to get close to nature, enjoy some fresh air and recreate your favorite drama scenes! Worth the short hike! Will definitely go back again during my next trip.

This place is a forest now protected by UNESCO, but once by a man devoted to its century-old trees. You can admire his house at the end of the route.
The path is shaded and quiet. In case of summer visit I advise you in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the suffocating moisture released by the many trees, and to enjoy the landscape to the best!
