This location is awesome, the staff are fantastic, and the food/beer is affordable and great! Located in an old industrial building there is family-friendly seating in the back, bar seating, and high tops near the kitchen, all surrounded by the brewing equipment. Very fun people watching! Upstairs is an open air balcony that is perfect for large parties and receptions.... More

We just happened upon this pub/brewery and stopped in for supper. Were very pleased with the menu and had great appetizers. We were there early on a Saturday night so it was not overly crowded Don't think anyone would be disappointed especially if you are into craft beer, which I am not.

Enjoyed our late lunch on Monday. We had the poem sandwich , the French dip , chicken tenders and one of their classic burgers ! Our server Randy was very nice . Will go again in the future when we are in Albany again .

The calamari is FANTASTIC ! Don't pass it up. A healthy portion for four one order was plenty. Chicken fingers were ok. The Victorian Porter is terrific. But we all enjoyed the brews . The service was friendly and helpful. The location is a little odd but can be found use GPS. The old warehouse is unique. A fun venue... More

The full name of this place is the C.H. Evans Brewing Company in the Pump House, but the signs on the building, in the parking lot, and on Google maps call it just the Pump House. As others have described, it is an interesting building. We stopped for a late afternoon snack. Their Capital Light draft was excellent, the calamari... More

Good pub food will fill you up. Great, friendly service and comfortable seating. Although a brew pub, it's actually a family restaurant. One of the few restaurants open on the weekend in Albany. The building was originally a city pump station and has retained an industrial look. A large fireplace in main dining room offers comfort and ambience in cold... More

I do not know how many times I have been here but it is never disappointing. Some old friends determined years back that this place has the best appetizer+beer+burger in Albany. That is peanut thai wings + [beer of your choice, mine is the brown] + pump station burger. I can remember 7 times I have gotten this and they... More

Came here for after work drinks and found out about the Burger and a Glass deal on Wednesdays. Between the attentive service, the fantastic beer and the beautiful setting we couldn't have had a better time. Now we have six pub glasses and great memories! We'll be back again soon!

This brew pub is located in a restored water pumping building for the City of Albany. The space is huge but very attractively done. It is a beer-lovers destination, with all the beer brewed on site. The food is good...hearty pub food. The service is friendly and prompt. We go there often.
