So many closed shop fronts, I expected to see tumble-weed rolling down the street. What was once a unique and vibrant location has become just another "student-ghetto" with overpriced apartments and Millennial-packed drinking establishments. Shades of Green, Shinning Star, Hot Dog Heaven, the Bryn Mawr Bookshop, Ben & Jerry's (sorry, Madison Avenue is not Lark Street - it is Madison... More

Based on reviews we thought Lark Street was going to be something special. Nope, just a regular old street with a couple of trying-a-bit-too-hard-to-be-funky businesses.

This was the first 'attraction' we visited and was very disappointing. It's not an attraction at all; you'll see really run down houses and people shouting. I felt uncomfortable walking here around 5-6pm. Do no bother visiting.

Some fun clubs and some shops but not many. Good for late night stroll and a bite to eat. A couple of good eateries. Some beautiful buildings around the park - but don't stroll there after dark.

Nice street for a stroll, there is an eclectic mix of cafes and restaurants to stop in for a coffee or meal. There are also a number of small shops to investigate. Washington park is around one block away.

Lark street is nice for a walk to admire the architecture of the houses. Even at night it special if you look up to the roof tops

In the past 20 years lark street has evolved . You can go to a nice restaurant in the area as well as there are many festivals that take place there, Like the lark street fest. I feel it is a safe place to walk. It is near so many other wonderful things.
