You can't miss this park! In the Spring, hundreds and hundreds of blossoming tulips grace many gardens. In the summer, this park is home to the Park Playhouse, venue of live performances each weekday by local (and very good) talent, many of which are budding young teen actors. You can purchase tickets to sit in chairs here, or sit up... More

Cool park. Attractive flower gardens and plantings. Nice pond/lake. No issues with the people and it was pretty clean. Just a 10-15 min walk from the Capitol area. Worth a stop if you need a respit.

It's a great place year round. Mother's Day weekend is always Tulip Fest and you can expect tons of great food and entertainment (and beautiful flowers!). During the winter they put on Lights in the Park. To drive around and see all of the lights you pay per car load. We go every year and our kids absolutely love it!

Went there last week in the afternoon and had a very pleasant walk. There are benches to sit back and relax and listen to the music nearby. It is a weekend happening.

Trip Advisor keeps sending me these prods to do me reviews. My practice is to review places which I find important to other potential users where I can make a contribution to their well being. Being prodded is annoying. So I am breaking my pattern by adding this review of a place which THEY, TA, suggested, Washington Park in Albany... More

This park has it all. I love it. Come in high summer and see a free show by the park place players. Bring your dog so I can enjoy dog theater at the dog park.

A nice, clean park. Some skateboarders. Quiet though. Nice scenery, flowers, and water. Interesting statues. Surrounding areas seem friendly enough. Would come again on a sunny day.

Washington Park has much to offer! There are many areas to just sit back and relax on a blanket, go for a walk or feed the ducks. Their summertime Park Playhouse has wonderful, top quality performances. I venture here quite often. I attend their many festivals, fundraisers and Holiday Lights of course!

So many wonderful festivals, theater, beautiful flowers, great bike and walking trails, a calm and quiet spot in the middle of Albany.
