Not the kind of place you would want to walk your family through at Dusk people staring at you making faces makes you think that they want to rob you or something

Washington Park has a wonderful, old-school feel (designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, the guy who designed New York's Central Park). The Tulip display in the Spring is gorgeous, and the Lake is pretty in the Summer and just right for skating in the Winter. The Lakehouse has a bandshell, and the hill across from it offers a perfect view of... More

We visited this lovely park situated in the middle of Albany, NY in October. The leaves were beautiful this year and the park was really nice. We have been here many times in the past (especially for the Tulip Festival). If your in the area or live in the area its a nice way to spend the day.

Visited here to participate in the Gay Pride Parade with my company, been here many many times before. The park is very well maintained and the lake hiuse is just so beautiful. It is a wonderful park to take a nice stroll. Tulip festival on Mother's Day is simply breath taking. Great photo ops throughout the park.

Small but beautiful park. Enjoy a sunny day walk. You can see those tulips in May and enjoy a show during summer.

Amazing place to ride a bike with friends, have a picnic, take the kids to play or even just enjoy the nature.

Spring and summer destination. Tulip festival in May, a not to miss experience of beauty and many different varieties of tulips. Also have many vendors with food and unique booths with a variety of wares. Great place to go in summer where they offer free musical theater shows, 2 each summer season. Arrive early or pay for a reserved seat... More

The Tulip Festival and the Christmas Lights In The Park are my two favorite times to visit. They also have musicals and plays in the summer which are done very well. A very nice place to visit in Albany

Our family enjoyed a walk through the park. It is well kept, safe and scenic. The nearby historic brownstones were cool also. The landscape was nice, but we want to come back in the spring during the Tulip Festival - the photos are spectacular. No food or drink vendors were there, which was disappointing. Parking was tight also - be... More
