To tell you the truth I was a little skeptical of the cruise since I had never heard about the Dutch Apple Boat. However, I was surely mistaken. The boat is well taken care of and the crew members were so welcoming and courteous. They have a wide selection of food & drinks for everyone to find something to enjoy. The narration was informative and even if you just wanted to go on a "boat ride", you'd still be interested hearing the history of the area. I live a five minute drive from another cruise boat that goes out on the Hudson, but I would rather drive 50 minutes to Albany any day to go on this boat.

The one item that stood out to me was the friendliness of all crew members. They were pleasant and helpful towards me and my guest. I have some difficulty walking. I was offered a chair to use when I was outside on the deck. The offer was very much appreciative.

Excellent tour with interesting narration. Crew was very professional and polite and we were able to spot an Eagle during the tour. I would combine this tour with a tour of the USS Slater docked next door. That also is an interesting and worthwhile tour.

We have been in Albany all of our lives and wanted to start experiencing more of what it offers. The Dutch Apple Cruise was so relaxing and educational for my family. My two boys enjoyed the trip and were excited every time they were able to see eagles. My husband enjoyed it as much as our kids did. I would do this all over again, I definitely recommend it.
