If you go to Curieuse, be sure to spend time with the tortoises, but also be sure to take the trail all the way to the other side of the island where the beach is fabulous and we had a wonderful swim after about a 30 minute hike. Clean white sand and ocean of different shades of blue. Absolutely stunning.... More

To get here you need to book a day trip either to Curieuse & St Pierre (50 euro + 200 RS) or to Curieuse, Cousin & St Pierre (70 euro + 700 Rs landing fee). The trip includes also a very good barbecue with chicken, fish, mango salad, refreshing drinks and small bananas. First you land at Anse Jose from... More

It surely worth it to take a daytour here. You can do some nice snorkling and walking here. The turtoises are nice, we fed them watermelon. We walked all the way to the top of the island which was quite a walk (we were the only ones there) it's a small rocky path with little shade. On the other way... More

Meeting the tortoises - the walk through the Mangroves and the stunning beaches! The bbq organised on the beach was delicious and snorkeling was amazing.

The Doctor's House has some interesting info on the island and the Seychelles in general, which was interesting. You can also see some giant tortoises, coco de mer palms and spend some time walking through mangroves. We visited as part of a tour group but it is definitely manageable on your own as the paths were well marked.

Great beaches and lots of big tortoises. The island is - excuse the pun - curious. Lots of little coves and caves to explore around the coastline, which is fun.

What a stunning and tiny island, really an amazing place, its a but unreal but its real. Just make sure who you pay to take you there, usually the place you are staying at can arrange. A-must-go place!

So much of Seychelles has been ruined by intrusive hotel development. At least on Curieuse there is no development. The island can be comfortably explored in half a day and there are lots of boat owners on Praslin who will take you out there. The giant tortoises roam freely and you can learn about them from the breeding station. A... More
